Kandi Burruss Almost Quit ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Over Phaedra Parks Lie

Kandi Burruss The Real Housewives Of Atlanta Phaedra Parks

Kandi Burruss was so devastated by what Phaedra Parks did to her on season nine of The Real Housewives of Atlanta that she told her close friends and family members that she was going to quit.

Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, were accused by Parks of being rapists.

It was a very entertaining season of RHOA where there were constant shading, loads of rumors, and too many lies to count.

However, the biggest scandal was courtesy of Parks who told the world that Burruss and Tucker were scheming to drug and rape Porsha Williams in what was described as a secret dungeon.

The lie broke Burruss’ heart and almost destroyed the companies she poured her sweat and tears in.

In a new interview with US Weekly, Burruss confessed that she was on the verge of leaving after the explosive confrontation with Parks.

She revealed: “During season 9, I was feeling like I might want to leave because there was so much hate from fans online and I was having trouble because, how do you defend yourself from a lie?”

The mother of two added: “How do you defend yourself from something that never happened?”

Burruss said that there had been controversial statements made on the reality show, but none of them were comparable to the rape lie cooked up by Parks.

She said: “I have never had drama like that that lasted the whole season. It was very sh–ty. But now I am extremely happy that people were able to see the truth.”

Burruss confessed that she will never talk to Parks again but has plans to sit down with Williams to try to understand why did she believe the BS that Parks was feeding her.

Parks is currently in Italy with her boys as for Burruss she is teaming up with Tameka “Tiny” Harris for a major Xscape reunion tour.
