Leah Remini has taken to social media, where she shared her most glamorous photo yet while marching on with her well-documented campaign against the Church of Scientology and its prominent leaders.
Remini, 50, looked sensational and unrecognizable in a black gown, matching gloves, and a gorgeous birdcage hat veil.
Leah Remini has perfect makeup in the high-end photoshoot, including bright red lipstick and a statement ring. The picture was taken in the back of a luxury car with a handsome chauffeur dressed as a captain.
Via the caption, Leah Remini explained that actor Jonathan Platero took on the role of David Miscavige, the leader of the Church of Scientology and Captain of the Sea Organization.
The former King of Queens star announced the latest episode of her new podcast, Scientology: Fair Game, that takes listeners “behind the facade and expose the terrible truth about scientology’s Fair Game doctrine.”
Leah Remini had this to say about the new episode: “Episode 37 of Scientology Fair Game is out. (Link in bio) We have been asked by our listeners to cover it, her topics, and so we are joined by Mormon Stories Host Dr. John Dehlin. We venture into the world of Mormonism to learn about problems in the Mormon world and the similarities it has to Scientology.”
She continued: “And a from a photoshoot I did with @katarinavanderham and @dejajordanphoto A very special thank you to my friend @jonplaterodude for being my David Miscavige! Lol #scientologyfairgame #idontreallylookthisgood).”
Many fans of the former Scientologist turned whistleblower rushed in the comment section to say that she looked amazing.
A backer stated: “@leahremini nailed that one right on the head, I’d say 😂 You always look this good lady, and I don’t know how you do it. 🔥”
Another social media user mocked David Miscavige by saying: “COB neva looked betta!! 😂 (It’s the ‘Chairman of the BoMiscavigeat they call David Miscavige.)”
Leah Remini responded to the fan by mocking David Miscavige’s looks and height. She wrote: “not only does COB wish he looked like that, I’m sure he wishes he was as tall!)”
Other commenters focused on the various religions that Leah Remini has been exposing via her multiple projects.
A backer stated: “Leah, you are the only one that will open the pandora boxes in all fcking religions. Every single religion better be prepared😉 you go, girl, nobody.”
This critic explained why she disagrees with Leah Remini on certain statements: “This makes me so sad.😢I loved watching your documentary. In fact, I found it so fascinating, but having been raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (a Mormon), I found absolutely NO similarities in these two religions. In fact, I wouldn’t even remotely call Scientology a religion. I love my faith and my life as a Mormon. And I’m not as naive to know that people of any faith are humans who make human mistakes. It’s happened in the Mormon faith, no question, but to even compare the two makes me sick to my stomach. I surely hope that you have reached out to leaders of our church to be well informed. You will find it to be very transparent.❤️”
Remini is keeping up the fight.
