Today, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is celebrating her 39th birthday in her new home in California.
It has been confirmed that Meghan Markle is planning a small celebration with her husband, Prince Harry, and their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
While millions of fans have been virtually celebrating with Meghan via the #HappyBirthdayMeghan, her bitter father, Thomas Markle, is back in the headlines.
Thomas did a nasty interview to rain on his daughter’s birthday parade, and he took the opportunity to slam Prince Harry.
Thomas, who lives in Rosarito, Mexico, did a virtual interview with The Sun, where he attacked his daughter for whining and complaining while millions of people are suffering all over the world because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Thomas said that his daughter still holds a special place in his heart; he is now embarrassed by the woman she has become.
He confessed: “This is the worst time in the world for them to be whining and complaining about anything — because people everywhere are suffering due to the coronavirus pandemic. I love my daughter but I really don’t appreciate what she’s become right now.”
Thomas also shared his thoughts on some of the revelations made in the bombshell tell-all book, Finding Freedom. It is claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex contributed to the book written by their close allies — Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand.
Meghan and Harry have denied those claims. Thomas said he was heartbroken to learn in the book that the royal family pleaded with Meghan and Harry to help him in 2018.
He claimed that he was being hounded by the media after he skipped the royal wedding because of a serious heart attack.
Thomas revealed: “The fact the royals advised them to get me help and they refused to do it is incredible news.”
He called out his daughter for this reason: “Apparently, Meghan has made deals with the paparazzi. She planned it.”
While Thomas is busy lashing out, Queen Elizabeth II showed class. Despite the fact that the former actress and her husband have left London and stepped down from their roles, the royal family is virtually celebrating her special day.
The Royal Family’s official page shared a beautiful photo of Meghan with Queen Elizabeth along with the sweet message: “??Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very happy birthday!”
Maybe this one message will bring peace in the kingdom. For now, things remain murky.
