Carrie Underwood is a shrewd businesswoman who uses social media to promote her brand and various products.

The diva took to social media to push her latest collection of women’s activewear from CALIA by Carrie Underwood.

In the photo shared on Instagram, the “Cry Pretty” artist showed her fantastic body in a pair of tight leggings from the CALIA by Carrie collection.

The songstress completed the look with a cozy lime jacket and sneakers. The American Idol winner opted to have her long blonde hair cascading on her back and one shoulder.

Underwood used the caption to explain that she had opened several pop-up retail stores in Nashville, Austin, and Santa Monica to mark the brand’s fifth anniversary.

The “Something in the Water” had this to say about the pop-up shops: “Our very first @caliabycarrie Pop-Up Shops open today in Santa Monica, Austin, and Nashville! If you live near one of these cities, stop by now through Dec. 31! #StayThePath #ChooseYou calia.com/popupshops.”

In a press release, she spoke about the collection and explained that they decided to factor in that a pandemic is going on and that women, especially mothers, need to be hands-free when they briefly step out.

The designer said that she focused on details such as jackets that zip several inches up to protect the neck for warmth and lots of pockets for mothers/women who always carry things like phones, keys, and other small items for their children.

Underwood stated: “I kind of wanted to make it a bit easier for people to shop and create a fun space for them to come and see what we’ve got going on. I will probably be visiting the (Nashville) pop-up shop at some point myself, just because it’s fun.”

She added: “This year, it’s all about the textures. When you think of fall, to me, you just think about crunchy leaves, and you think about soft outer layers.”

Underwood went on to reveal: “People are getting out, and they’re exploring parks and things like that. They’re getting their kids out … that’s one thing I learned throughout this whole year. It’s like, ‘What am I going to do with my kids? Let’s go outside.'”

Fans are happy for the country superstar, and they are in love with her fun collection. However, a few criticize her because they cannot afford the clothes.

A follower said this on social media: “I’m so excited for this. I really hope there are more locations soon! Will the gift wrapping be in the Calia boxes? Will there be a limited edition collection available only at these pop-up locations?❤️”

Underwood was praised by this backer who penned this kind message: “Always such a classic beauty.?So exciting! The new collection is incredible.”

However, this person called her out for the price tag of the items: “Love the line but so pricey.” Another commenter wrote: “If it wasn’t so damn expensive!”

Underwood had a defender who stepped in to say: “If it helps, there’s a ton of awesome deals on their website’s clearance section, and at @dickssportinggoods.”

Underwood like many other music stars is really branching out.
