Cardi B has shared a video to Instagram responding to people who criticize her looks when she is wearing no makeup.
The video was posted on Tuesday by the 28-year-old rapper, who said she felt good despite the negative comments she has received.
She referred specifically to people who take screenshots of her face while she is moving and then make nasty remarks.
Cardi B did not use a filter, did not wear make-up, and had not brushed her hair for the video, which she said was filmed just 20 minutes after she woke up.
She told her 82 million followers that nobody would bring her confidence down and said that people who criticize her for her success have “hatred in their hearts.”
The “WAP” rapper said she has never been afraid to show her real self, and she will keep being successful with her “natural face,” regardless of whether she is wearing make-up or not.
She reassured fans that she was feeling “confident” in her own skin and felt “great” and “happy” as she pointed out the “little blemishes” on her face in the video.
Cardi B’s sister, Hennessy Carolina, popped up in the comment section and promised to fight the people criticizing the femcee.
The model wrote: “WHAT YOU BEEN BADDDD!!! BEAUTIFUL FACE!BEAUTIFUL LIFE !! BEAUTIFUL BODY !! BIRKIN BAG P*ssy !!! ?? AND THAT’S WHY THEY STAY MAD!!! I’ll smack anyone in real life tho all I’m saying.”
A follower stated: “THEY ARE PROJECTING THEIR SELF HATRED! It’s so weird how much random people hate on you for no damn reason when all you do is work hard and mind your business?. If you keep it real, they mad. If you sneeze, they mad. It’s a lot of mad people out there not minding their own business.”
