Dr. Dre had been spotted out in West Hollywood with a mystery woman who was later revealed to be reality TV star Apryl Jones as they went on a date together to a restaurant recently.
The 34-year-old talent was happy to confirm that she is indeed dating the hip-hop mogul in a new interview where she said: “I am dating. And…I’m not looking for anything. I’m a say I’m not looking. I just feel like…I am dating and I’m open, and I feel like what I am hoping to experience is just a great exchange of energy with somebody that feels different, and I’ll know it when I feel it.”
The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star recently made jaws dropped by sharing a series of lingerie pictures where she leaves little to the imagination.
Earlier this month, photos emerged of rapper Dr. Dre and Apryl Jones visiting BOA Steakhouse together.
The 55-year-old Beats Electronics founder wore a black hoodie and matching tracksuit bottoms, paired with white trainers and a black baseball cap. He also wore a black mask and was not seen taking it off.
The then-mysterious influencer who accompanied him on that evening did not reveal her face, covering it with a black mask similar to the one her date wore.
Apryl Jones wore a black lace bralette and a black and white plaid jacket and leggings combination.
Her look was completed with a pair of black heels. Her revealing outfit showed off a toned tummy with a tattoo on her waistline. She also had a tattoo on her right hand.
She joined the rapper for a date night, and the two were seen exiting BOA Steakhouse and making their way into a luxury car.
Dr. Dre — whose real name is Andre Romelle Young — is currently going through a divorce with his estranged wife, Nicole Young, after 24 years of marriage.
The couple married in 1996 and have two children together, Truice Young and Truly Young.
In June 2020, his wife filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple is currently agreeing on the terms of their divorce and prenuptial agreement — which was torn up by Dr. Dre when their marriage was going well.
He is currently supporting his estranged wife with monthly payments of $293,000, in addition to a $2 million one-off payment earlier this year.
His date night comes after Dr. Dre spent time in hospital recently, including several days in ICU, after suffering a brain aneurysm while at his home on January 5 this year.
