Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Big Win Pushes Royal Fans To Call Queen Elizabeth Weak

Queen Elizabeth Meghan Markle Prince Harry Daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten Windsor Added To Website

It took almost two months after the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s baby daughter was born, for the royal family to finally add her in line of succession on the official website.

The infant girl Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who will be two months old on August 4, is now the eighth person in line to the British throne.

The couple’s second child was born in a hospital in Santa Barbara, California, and has double nationalities — she is British and American.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s friend and journalist, Omid Scobie, happily announced the news via Twitter: “The line of succession on the @RoyalFamily website has just been updated to include the Sussexes’ second child: Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, who is eighth in line to the throne. She was born on June 4.”

Queen Elizabeth II allowed the change to the official website of the Royal Family to be made after multiple royal experts called out Her Majesty for ignoring baby Lili Diana, while Prince Andrew, who has been linked to a sex scandal, was still listed as eighth in line.

The experts pointed to the fact that other royal babies were added rather quickly to the line of succession via the royal.uk list.

For example, Lili’s older brother, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor‘s name was added to the website just 15 days after he was born.

Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s third child, Prince Louis, went on the list just 12 days after he was born.

Royal expert Daniela Elser said the royal family was in danger of angering Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by ignoring their baby girl.

She shared: “The fact that the Palace has failed to include Lili so far and for weeks on end after her birth carries with it quite the sting. The Palace’s seeming lack of urgency on the Lili/website front is breathtaking. Or, to put it another way, someone has got around to updating the royal.uk website to include all the handy details of this year’s Swan Upping (it starts on Monday!), but they have not got around to adding Lilibet to the line of succession. Talk about fiddling while Rome is threatening to burn.”

ITV Royal Editor Chris Ship added: “You have got to ask what has taken them so long. All they have got to do is hit the paragraph button and put in a different number. They must have done it before. They did it for Archie. Clearly, they did it for Louis when he was born. And they have done it for some of the other children like August that have been born as well. So where’s Lilibet? I can forgive them a week or two but a month?”

Soon after Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royals were put on blast, Meghan Markle and her husband got their wish. Many royal fans are angry at the move and did not hold back with their comments.

Taking to social media, many revealed that Her Majesty is weak for folding to Prince Harry and the former actress’ wish. Others said it was an insulting and disrespectful move towards Kate Middleton and Prince William.

This baffled social media enthusiast shared: “Is this real? If so, I don’t feel bad monarchy goes down to drain. Queen is just a weak individual. Period.”

A fan of the royals penned this angry message: “What a disappointment from the royal family.”

This supporter of the heir to the throne had this reaction: “For the life of me, I can’t understand why it seems the Cambridge family is being disrespected like this.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are moving forward with their different ventures despite the controversies.
