For Meghan Markle‘s 40th birthday, she surprised royal fans by sharing a picture of her and Prince Harry‘s baby girl, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, in a video message where she spoke about the importance of charity work.
Backers of the couple were delighted to get a glimpse of the baby girl who has captived the world for the past two months.
The latest member of the British royal family spilled ink when she was just two days old due to a scandal that erupted over her name.
Questions were raised about Prince Harry’s decision not to formally ask Queen Elizabeth II‘s permission to give her private nickname to his first daughter.
The baby has also been the subject of chatter and debate over her christening. Prince Harry has made it known that he wants her to be christened in England with Queen Elizabeth in attendance.
During his trip to London, where he met with Prince William for a tribute to their mother, Princess Diana, Prince Harry told the royal family that he wants Lilibet Diana to be christened at Windsor, just like her brother, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The couple is said to be “happy to wait until circumstances allow” in order to be sure the Queen will be present.
Prince Harry and his wife are making the tremendous demand after announcing that he is writing a tell-all book that has the royals living in fear and could “destabilize the monarchy,” according to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail.
In a new interview, royal expert and author Angela Levin said that she was doubtful that Prince Harry would convince the Queen to take part in the event at St George’s Chapel in Windsor while dropping hurtful bombs on the monarchy.
He has been warned that he cannot continue criticizing the monarchy if he wants his newborn daughter, Lilibet Diana, to be christened at Windsor.
Angela Levin, who wrote a biography of Prince Harry, said the Duke of Sussex “cannot have his cake and eat it too.”
She explained: “I think he will go as far as possibly can. I don’t think there are any more boundaries for him. I think that is a huge problem for the royals. It is like, someone who has been caged. He said he felt trapped, and now he has his freedom. And my goodness he is going to take revenge. That is a very important part of what he wants to do.”
She went on to reveal: “However, I was told by someone who was well-informed that a lot of the book would be about Diana and her death and the people he didn’t like surrounding that. That very well might be the rest of his family.”
The expert shared: “The public will get quite exasperated by endless interviews and words about how badly he has been treated and how awful they are. Yet, in the meantime, he wants to have baby Lilibet Diana baptized in Windsor. It’s a case of having your cake and eating it.”
The Queen, who had prior engagements, did not attend Archie’s christening in 2019.
