Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Start Their Era Of Visibility With A Bang, Thanks To First Major Appearance Together

Prince Harry Meghan Markle Oprah Winfrey Emmy Awards

It appears that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might open their era of visibility with a bang.

It is being claimed that heaven and earth are being moved for the powerful pair to be special guests at the 73rd Emmy Awards.

Likely, the former senior royals would even present an award at one of Hollywood’s biggest nights.

This week, Omid Scobie, a close friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the author of Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, spoke to PEOPLE.

He revealed the royal couple is ending their parental leave to enter “the era of visibility.”

The reporter confirmed that Prince Harry and his wife are excited to be back in the public eye to launch their new projects and participate in charitable works.

He went on to say that the duo will be jumping into the “thrive chapter” after their numerous and scandalous interviews.

The controversies around the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have apparently made them “in high demand,” which is why TV execs and the managers of the prestigious event are desperate to secure the attendance of the famous couple.

A staff member of the awards show told The Sun: “The Sussexes are in high demand — it would be their first red carpet appearance since Megxit and their full-time Californian move.”

In addition, it is reported that Oprah Winfrey, who is very close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, is planning to attend the awards ceremony, and her presence there might attract the Sussexes as well.

It is currently believed that the renowned talk show host and media mogul is likely to win a trophy, as her interview with the Sussexes, Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special, was included in the nominations for the category Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series.

The controversial tell-all interview will compete with My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, Vice, United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell, and Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy.

Meanwhile, many speculated that it was very likely for Netflix to secure VIP invitations for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, not only because the pair made a very lucrative deal with the streaming giant, but also since “shots of them with big Hollywood names would be a huge PR.”

However, for the time being, it remains a mystery whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be present at the event, but royal fans will have their eyes glued to the red carpet.

The event will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles in September.
