Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Could Be In Legal Trouble After Queen Elizabeth’s Warning Shot Over Their Intolerable Acts

Prince Harry Meghan Markle Queen Elizabeth Racist Comment Drama

According to a legal expert, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can face legal repercussions if they decide to reveal the identity of the royal who made a racist comment about the potential dark skin of their then-unborn son, Archie.

During their controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle claimed that someone from the British royal family commented on the color of Archie’s skin.

In addition, it was recently revealed that at some point in the past, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were thinking about disclosing who was the “racist royal.” Still, they later chose to give away only that it was not Queen Elizabeth II or her late husband, Prince Philip.

Reports claim that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have to name names in their multi-million dollar book deal to satisfy their bosses and sell the explosive memoir.

The royal couple has been paid $20 million for a package that includes a bombshell tell-all book where he will reveal even more embarrassing secrets about the British royal family.

However, according to Mark Stephens, the lawyer, who represented James Hewitt when allegations of his affair with Princess Diana emerged, recently spoke about the situation.

He explained that if the former senior royals decided to expose who was the royal who made the inappropriate comment, then this person could seek legal consequences for the couple and sue them for “libel and breach of privacy.”

The legal expert stated that if the exchange with the racist remark was carried out privately, then “there was a reasonable expectation of privacy and for the contents of the conversation not to be shared with a third party, the media.”

He said to the Daily Mail: “Essentially, what you will find is that the individual if named, may have been able to sue for libel and breach of privacy if it was a private conversation between two individuals where there was a reasonable expectation of privacy and for the contents of the conversation not to be shared with a third party, the media.”

He went on to say: “First of all, the exact words that were said would have to be identified, and the context they were made in. Was it racist, or was it just an inquiry? The words may have had a racist overtone but were they intended in that way?”

In addition, Stephens claimed that the Sussexes have already gone too far, as they have defamed the British royal family as a group by not revealing who made the alleged racist remark.

The lawyer also stated that the Queen and the rest of the royals “will have to step up” on putting the Sussexes in their place in the months to come.

According to The Sun, Queen Elizabeth is “getting lawyered up” in response to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s constant attacks on the royal family and is ready for the scandalous book.

A source shared: “There is a limit to how much will be accepted, and the Queen and royal family can only be pushed so far. They are getting lawyered up. Harry and Meghan will be made aware and know repeated attacks will not be tolerated.”

The insider familiar with the situation added: “If someone were named in the book and accused of something directly, that could be a libel and also infringe their rights to a private family life. There are concerns that the American public are falling for what Harry and Meghan say.”

The power couple does not seem interested in a detente at the moment.
