Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, have decided to skip several high-profile events over the weekend for a fun-filled and fashionable vacation in Italy.
And the diva has shared a boatload of pictures from the getaway.
For her 40th birthday, Jay-Z whisked his wife away for a luxurious holiday onboard a half-billion yacht that belongs to Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos.
The giant boat known as the Flying Fox costs nearly $4 million a week to rent.
Taking to Instagram, the Texan diva unveiled a deluge of pictures taken during the trip, including a rare photo of her four-year-old daughter, Rumi Carter.
Beyoncé — who bailed on fashion week, the Met Gala, and the MTV Awards — turned her vacay into a splendid fashion show.
The Grammy-winning singer showed off ample cleavage in an orange mini wrap dress that featured a silver chain on one side. Beyoncé wore a massive diamond necklace to complete the sexy look.
While sailing on the Mediterranean sea, Beyoncé slayed in a lime green dress that revealed her toned legs and highlighted her famous booty.
She posed with Jay-Z on a dinner table, looking business chic in a white shirt and dangerously short skirt.
In many of the pictures, the power couple looked crazy in love as they siped wine or champagne and enjoyed their break.
Beyoncé sat down with Harper’s Bazaar for its September issue to speak about all that she wants to accomplish in her 40s.
Beyoncé, who celebrated her 40th birthday on September 4th, said: “I’ve done so much in 40 years that I just want to enjoy my life. It’s hard going against the grain, but being a small part of some of the overdue shifts happening in the world feels very rewarding. I want to continue to work to dismantle systemic imbalances.”
She went on to say: “I want to continue to turn these industries upside down. I plan to create businesses outside of music. I have learned that I have to keep on dreaming. One of my favorite quotes is from the inventor Charles Kettering. It goes ‘Our imagination is the only limit to what we can hope to have in the future.'”
The legendary artist also revealed during the sit-down: “I want to show that you can have fun and have purpose, be respectful and speak your mind. You can be both elegant and a provocateur. You can be curvy and still be a fashion icon. I wish this freedom for every person.”
She concluded by: “I have paid my dues and followed every rule for decades, so now I can break the rules that need to be broken. My wish for the future is to continue to do everything everyone thinks I can’t do.”
