Meghan Markle Is Humanized As She Struggles To Hide Postpartum Damage In Photos With Prince Harry

Almost two years after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shocked the world with “Megxit,” they returned to the spotlight in spectacular fashion.

The pair, who has been holed up in their Californian mansion (because of the pandemic, they recently welcomed a baby), arrived in New York on Friday with a lot of fanfare.

The Duke of Sussex and his wife are in the Big Apple to participate in the Global Citizen Live event with hundreds of celebrities.

On Saturday, Meghan Markle and her spouse will appear at the 24-hour event to demand that the world leaders of the G7 countries and the European Union share at least one billion COVID-19 vaccine doses to people in need.

Flanked by police officers, secret services, and government officials, the power couple toured the One World Trade Center Observatory.

And later had a private meeting with New York Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Bill de Blasio.

While fall has just begun, many were surprised that Meghan Markle appeared dressed in a black turtleneck, matching trousers, and a heavy coat for winter.

She changed to a little black dress that featured a turtleneck and was covered with a thick camel coat to conceal her silhouette just months after giving birth to her baby girl, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

After making her first high-profile public appearance in almost two years, experts scrutinized Meghan Markle’s outfit, makeup, and hair.

Talking to the Daily Mail, celebrity hairdresser Tom Smith explained the Duchess of Sussex, 40, opted for a polished bun to show that she is not trying too hard and takes the role she is playing at the event seriously.

He also suggested that Meghan Markle opted for that style because she is struggling with postpartum hair loss like most new mothers, especially after having a baby girl.

The celebrity hairdresser said that Meghan Markle used a clever trick to hide the damage done to her famous thick mane.

He revealed: “It is a simple yet sophisticated style. It is world’s away from the TIME cover photoshoot where her long hair was full and center stage. She also may be experiencing postpartum hair thinning which would explain the center parting – thinning after pregnancy is most common around the temples and usually re-balances a few months after birth.”

He added: “The center parting would conveniently cover the areas most likely to be affected by hair thinning after her pregnancy. Her hairdresser could have advised this style to prevent further damage, and it is a clever trick to hide any visible damage.”

The expert claimed that Prince Harry’s wife used lots of hair extensions to cover the hair thinning on the cover of Time and went on to share: “Her recent TIME cover featured an extreme amount of hair extensions which also leads me to believe she may be struggling with her natural hair density after the birth of her daughter Lilibet.”

After her spectacular touchdown in New York, Markle is set to travel to London for the Christmas holidays for a royal family reunion.
