Kanye West is taking his fashion game to the next level, and no one knows how far his creative mind will go. Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husband has been spotted wearing unique masks as Halloween approaches.
However, it is not clear that he is sporting different masks for Halloween. Some observers have said it is more a fashion statement. West has reportedly suggested to Kardashian to be bolder too in her fashion choices.
In September, Kardashian went to the Met Gala wearing an all-black Balenciaga outfit that also came with matching face covering. The look was dubbed “anonymous.”
For Kardashian, it was a way to showcase her level of fame. People know her body shape; they do not even need to see her face to recognize her. Kardashian’s curves are known around the globe.
As she said on Saturday Night Live, her silhouette has inspired many plastic surgeons and their clients. Kardashian’s face covering gained a lot of attention, and many praised her risky move.
Mr. West, who legally changed his name to Ye, might be trying to get similar reactions from the public. However, because of his old antics, the public seems less supportive.
West is not backing down. This week, he was pictured in New York City wearing a prosthetic mask that looks like a White person wearing makeup.
The talented rapper was in the Big Apple for business. He went to Sant Ambroeus for a coffee break with lawyer Michael Cohen who used to work for Donald Trump.
Cohen told Page Six: “The purpose [of the mask] was so that people would not recognize him … the first 10 minutes we sat down, he was mobbed by people … who wanted photos and to say hello. So he put on this mask to give him some anonymity, which interestingly enough, did not really work.”
PR expert Ronn Torossian, who was also present during the meeting, said: Kanye was very calm and relaxed with no security. He was wearing the mask most of the time and said he was wearing it so he could walk around freely. There was no security; he was just wandering the streets with the mask. He was a pleasant guy. He and Michael Cohen were talking about real estate.”
It has been reported that West is trying to launch Ye Covid masks. He might also do the same with his Caucasian mask.
