Prince William said: “London and the UK has put on quite a show for our first year. So for the second year, we need to pass the baton to a country whose leadership is essential for all five of our Earthshots.”
He went on to share: “Where better than the nation that inspired the Moonshot all those years ago? I’m delighted to announce that the Earthshot Prize will be heading to the United States of America in 2022.”
A reliable royal source spoke to Vanity Fair and confirmed that Kate Middleton and Prince William are planning a high-profile trip across the pond to clean up the mess caused by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The person familiar with the situation revealed: “Team Cambridge is very focused on America and making sure they have a high profile over there. The possibility of them making a high-profile visit is very much on the cards for next year.”
The source added that Prince William and the future Queen of England are plotting to restore their stained and bruised reputations after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The insider stated: “[They] are aware that their popularity took a bit of a dive post the Oprah interview and that the focus now is on getting that support back. America is a very important audience for them.”
