It is claimed that Prince Harry is thinking of making a move with or without Meghan Markle for the sake of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Recently, the monarch suffered a health scare that required that she be briefly hospitalized.
The Queen was in the care of London’s best doctors for about 24 hours, and her medical team requested that she gets some much-needed rest and forced her to cancel multiple trips and royal duties.
The monarch, 95, has since returned to Windsor Castle and has taken part in public engagements virtually.
It was claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry felt a sense of urgency to bring their young children, Archie and Lilibet Diana, to England for Christmas.
It would have been Meghan Markle’s first trip to the UK since “Megxit” in early 2020.
However, with reports claiming that the British people are not too enthusiastic to see Meghan Markle after she left them hanging and her approval took a hit, it seems that she is hesitant to leave her native California.
It is worth noting that the former actress and philanthropist irked many Britons, including members of the royal family, with her interview where she accused them of neglecting her pain while she was feeling suicidal.
She also revealed that future queen Kate Middleton made her cry during an incident before her royal wedding.
With Prince Harry sitting by her side, Meghan Markle also confirmed that racist remarks were made about Archie’s skin tone before he was born.
A source spoke to the American media and revealed that Prince Harry has been in touch with Queen Elizabeth since she was released from the hospital. But he feels that he needs to do more.
The father of two is seriously thinking of a solo trip to see his grandmother after Meghan Markle decided she would not face the royal clan because of the current tension.
According to the source, Prince Harry respects Meghan Markle’s decision, but he is also ready to make the huge sacrifice of not spending his first Christmas with his baby daughter so he can travel to England to be with his aging grandmother.
The royal insider told OK!: “She has been in touch with her nonstop, sending messages and care packages. But he feels that’s not enough and wants to be by her side. She’s made it clear she wants nothing more to do with the Windsors, and he respects that, even if it means not being with her and the kids [Archie, 2, and Lilibet, five months].”
Despite all that has transpired between the family in the last months, Prince Harry holds Queen Elizabeth close to his heart and fears that it would be a missed opportunity not to fly back home for the holidays.
The source claimed: “He’s fearful there may not be another opportunity to celebrate the holidays with the Queen. For all of his grievances with the royal family, he adores his grandmother and misses her terribly.”
Some believe that Markle might still change her mind in the upcoming weeks.
