It might be safe to say that Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears will not celebrate this Thanksgiving together.
On Friday, Spears took to her favorite social media platform to share her frustration after Aguilera snubbed her.
Britney Spears dropped a post on Instagram that included a brief video of the “Dirrty” singer on the red carpet at the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday night.
Aguilera was approached by a reporter who asked her a question about the termination of Spears’s conservatorship.
The journalist also wanted to know if Aguilera was in contact with Spears after the significant development in her life.
Before the 40-year-old diva could get the opportunity to formulate a sentence, her team quickly made it known that it was not the time and place for that conversation.
The singer’s rep, Brett Ruttenberg, quipped: “No, we’re not doing that tonight; I’m sorry, thank you though, bye!”
Nonetheless, before walking away to take part in another interview, Christina Aguilera made this kind remark about the “I’m a Slave 4 U” artist: “But I’m happy for her.”
Britney Spears reposted the clip with a brutal message for Christina Aguilera where she more or less called her a liar.
The “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer began her angry note by: “I love and adore everyone who supported me… but refusing to speak when you know the truth is equivalent to a lie!!!!”
She continued by: “13 years being in a corrupt, abusive system, yet why is it such a hard topic for people to talk about??? I’m the one who went through it!!!! All the supporters who spoke up and supported me, thank you… yes, I do matter!!!!!”
In June, while Spears was battling it in court to end her 14-year conservatorship and regain control of her personal and financial life, Aguilera was more vocal with her support.
She issued a statement where she said: “It is unacceptable that any woman or human, wanting to be in control of their own destiny, might not be allowed to live life as they wish.”
Some fans are calling Aguilera shady for some past remarks she made about Spears.
Others are asking Spears to take Aguilera’s June statement into account and move forward.

Many predict that this is just the beginning and that Justin Timberlake will also feel Britney Spears’s wrath.
Spears had far nicer words for Lady Gaga, who took some time on the red carpet premiere of her new film, House of Gucci, to talk about the conservatorship.

Lady Gaga shared: “The way she was treated in this business was really wrong. And the way that women are treated in the music industry is something that I wish would change.”
Spears wrote: “I think that she will forever be an inspiration to women. Thank you, @LadyGaga, for genuinely taking your time to say something so kind. You made me cry!!! Love you!!!”
Fans are hoping that the ladies will kiss and make up as they did with Madonna many years ago.
For those, who are not aware of it, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears hit stardom at the same time after being young cast members on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1994.
Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears performed at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, where they shared a kiss with Madonna.
