Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Latest Fear Is Hurting Queen Elizabeth

Meghan Markle Prince Harry Christmas Plans

While Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, are often in the media for interviews and speeches, they are said to be fearful of being a major distraction for the royal family.

The couple’s decision to avoid a media frenzy at all cost has consequences for Queen Elizabeth II, who is being robbed of precious moments with her great-grandchildren.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s fear of a frenzy is preventing them from visiting the U.K. together

Queen Elizabeth II, who had a very complicated year, invited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, hoping they would travel to London with their children and attend the royal family’s Christmas gathering.

Her Majesty lost her husband earlier this year and has recently been battling some health issues.

The Queen was said to be looking forward to having Prince Harry and Markle and for them to accept her invitation.

A trip across the pond for the Sussex couple implied that Queen Elizabeth could spend time with her great-grandson, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, and finally meet her namesake great-granddaughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

The Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle last spent Christmas at Sandringham in 2018.

In 2019, they flew to Canada, where they celebrated the holiday with Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland.

Due to the pandemic of 2020 and the travel restrictions that were in place, they were forced to mark the Christmas holidays in their new California mansion.

According to a royal source, who spoke to Page Six, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have turned down the invitation and let the aging 95-year-old monarch know why they cannot come to London.

Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, are fearful their return to the U.K. will create a frenzy and have therefore decided to remain in California.

The insider claimed: “I think everyone understands there will be a frenzy when they both come back to the U.K., but they need to rip the [Band-Aid] off and get on with it.”

Prince Harry and Markle’s decision to avoid a chaotic situation is hurting the Queen.

There is only one way for Queen Elizabeth to see Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s young children

According to a royal expert, Her Majesty finds it difficult not to see little Archie and Lilibet.

Appearing in the new documentary 2021: The Queen’s Terrible Year, royal expert Camilla Tominey revealed that Queen Elizabeth is having a tough time with the matter because she cannot travel to the U.S. anytime soon.

She said: “I’m sure the Queen was absolutely delighted to hear the news that the Sussexes were expecting a second child. But it is difficult for the Queen. She has not been able to see Archie. I think the last time she was able to see Archie in the flesh was November 2019.”

She added: “The only way the Queen will be able to see these children is if they come over to the U.K. Maybe she will see them next year when she marks her Platinum Jubilee. We have to wait and see.”

Queen Elizabeth has confirmed that she will be spending Christmas in her Norfolk estate of Sandringham and has already erected a massive tree.

The festivities will begin on December 17, and she will be joined by family members, including Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge, and their three children.

Some believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will bring their children to the U.K. in 2022 for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, recently did an interview where he said that Archie and Lilibet were being “deprived” of seeing their family, including the Queen, Prince Charles, and himself.
