Royal author Christopher Andersen chimed in that the future queen consort has a tight circle of female friends, and it is a pity that she could not add Meghan Markle to it because of the ongoing rift between their husbands.
He went on to say: “Yeah! She’s a very kind person; I mean, you always get this from people who have encountered her, worked with her, know her, she’s kind, and she gets a bum rap as kind as being a kind of a cold fish. I think people think she’s so controlled, and frankly, a lot of women have told me they consider it to be awfully thin, but she has this little tight group of people around her.”
Andersen confirmed the reports of Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton not being able to have a lasting friendship after the arrival of Lilibet Diana by saying: “Maybe, a half dozen people at the most, and she doesn’t let people in that much, but I think when Lili was born, she could connect with Meghan in that way as well.
He added: “Unfortunately, nobody in the royal family has met her yet.”
A royal insider spoke to US Weekly and shared the same story of Kate Middleton’s hard push to unite with Prince Harry for the sake of their children.
The insider shared: “Kate has been reaching out to Meghan a lot more since [Lilibet] was born. She’s sending [notes and] gifts and trying to build up a relationship. The firm has been instructing staffers to reach out more to Harry and Meghan to get them to soften a bit.”
Prince Harry confirmed that his relationship with his brother is complicated at the moment. It has been revealed that the princes are no longer speaking, but that will not stop the future king and his wife from sending gifts to their niece and nephew in California for Christmas.
