Flow La Movie has died in a plane crash at the age of 38. The famous music producer perished with his girlfriend, young son, and several other family members along with crew members after their private plane crashed near an airport in the Dominican Republic.

Tributes have poured in on social media after reports that hit reggaeton music producer Flow La Movie, whose real name is Jose Angel Hernandez, has died in a plane crash along with six relatives and two crew members.

Among those killed in the tragic incident were Flow La Movie’s partner and their young son, who was just four years old.

Posting on Twitter to report the devastating news, aviation company Helidosa Aviation Group said that the plane crashed while trying to land at Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic.

Several videos have surfaced online showing the deadly plane crash.

“For Helidosa, this accident causes us great pain and sorrow. We stand in solidarity with the affected families who, together with us, are going through a difficult time,” the company expressed in a statement in Spanish via Instagram.

It is not clear exactly why the pilots were trying to land the private plane, but they did so not long after it had taken off from El Higuero airport.

Jose Angel Hernandez was a music producer from Puerto Rico and was among the victims of the crash, along with all the other eight passengers.

The other passengers included Flow La Movie’s partner of seven years, 31-year-old Debbie Von Marie Jimenez Garcia, and their 4-year-old son, Jayden Hernandez.

Other relatives of the musician who were also on board the plane and died in the crash were Keilyan Hernandez, Yeilianys Jeishlimar Melendez Jimenez, and Jesiel Yabdiel Silva.

Luis Alberto Eljuri and Victor Emilio Herrera were the two crew members who died during the tragic incident.

The crew members happily posed for photos with the family before taking off on the doomed flight.

The flight was heading to Orlando, Florida, and the operating company had not revealed the details of why the plane had to be landed so soon after taking off.

Flow La Movie is remembered by reggaeton artists.

Flow La Movie started being known for his urban Latin style, with songs like “Te Bote” becoming popular hits in Latin America.

He was a frequent collaborator with major reggaeton artists, including J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Ozuna.

Fellow musicians Don Omar and J Balvin paid tribute to the late music producer on social media with messages of condolences.

Colombian music star J Balvin wrote on Instagram: “José Ángel THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIBRATION HIGH ALWAYS!! Rest in peace.”

Don Omar penned this note: “So sad for your loss and your family’s. Thank you for the opportunity to collaborate. Fly high, see you later.”
