Meghan Markle Given Awkward Reason To Skip Queen Elizabeth’s Chaotic Christmas Celebration

Meghan Markle Prince Harry England Reason Explained

This tidbit of news will certainly not help convince Meghan Markle that she needs to get on a plane and travel to London for the Christmas holiday.

It was recently revealed that Queen Elizabeth II invited Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, to spend the year-end festivities with the royal family.

The pair declined because they feared receiving massive backlash by returning to England after their scandalous interviews and planned bombshell tell-all book.

Even though the Sussexes have turned down the olive branch, some royal experts believe that it is not too late to have a change of heart.

While Christmas is just a few days away, if Meghan Markle and her spouse wanted, they could board a private plane with their young children to be at Windsor Castle to celebrate with Queen Elizabeth and a few members of the royal family.

In an attempt to convince Meghan Markle to book the flight, royal expert and author Angela Levin revealed that Prince Harry’s grandmother will miss him dearly because they had a very close relationship before he moved to California.

She broke down the tight bond that existed between Duke of Sussex and Her Majesty by saying: “It’s been awful but I think what she will miss Harry and Meghan.”

While describing the closeness of Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth’s relationship, she inadvertently threw Meghan Markle under the bus by making this revelation: “Maybe not so much Meghan, but certainly Harry. She adored Harry and he adored her.”

The commentator went on to share: “They have a very similar sense of humor, and they would make practical jokes on each other. They would do jokes as they did at the Olympics in 2012, where they came down from a plane.”

She concluded by explaining how important it is for the aging monarch to have Prince Harry by her side during this period of the year: “I think she will miss that, I hope that people can make it up to her. I think in a way, it’s more painful than Prince Philip. Of course, she missed him because it was a long time, but he was four months short of his 100th birthday. In a way, you’re slightly prepared, even though the reality is very painful.”

The holidays are shaping up to be a bit complicated, even chaotic, for the royal family because the Queen’s plans and traditions have been tossed out of the window because of the rising Omicron cases in the UK.

She has already canceled Christmas at Sandringham and moved the family gathering to Windsor Castle instead for the second year in a row.

The Queen has been forced to scale down the celebration. Some family members will not be able to attend the gathering because of the virus.

If it is possible, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children will be marking the holiday with Her Majesty.
