In the summer of 2022, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are bound for Nothern Europe.
Many are already asking if they will go to London and meet with Queen Elizabeth II. And will they bring their two young children, Archie and baby Lilibet Diana, along for the trip?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down from their royal duties in early 2020, have not traveled to the United Kingdom together since then.
Prince Harry made two solo trips to England to bid a final farewell to his grandfather, Prince Philip, and to take part in a tribute to his late mother, Princess Diana.
Due to the pandemic, her pregnancy, and fear of significant backlash from her interviews, Meghan Markle has refused to step foot in the UK.
The couple welcomed a daughter in June 2021 who has yet to meet the members of the royal family.
However, it is believed that Meghan Markle will make an effort for the Invictus Games 2022 that will take place in Holland after being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19.
The sporting event for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and veterans will be held in The Hague, Netherlands.
The event that features service personnel from all over the world is near and dear to Prince Harry, so many royal experts say the Sussex family will be in attendance.
The 5th annual games are scheduled between May 29 and June 5, 2022. The dates correspond perfectly with Queen Elizabeth II‘s platinum celebrations.
Royal expert Russell Myers recently did an interview and predicted that Prince Harry and his family have the perfect opportunity to fly to England after the opening ceremony of the games and added: “It’s been a busy year, and it probably is a good time to let this year go, see what happens in the new year, and hopefully, we will see them back in the UK.”
Myers continued: “Because Harry has got the Invictus Games, fingers crossed [in May/June], so one would assume he will come back and see his family. And again, one would assume Meghan will come to the Invictus Games as well, with the children.”
He concluded by: “So, I think that that’s probably a fair bet to say that we may see them in the springtime next year. But who knows?”
Another royal expert said that the power couple has signaled that they are eager to be in England and take part in the festivities scheduled around Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee with the rest of the famous family.
Neil Sean said that according to his royal sources, Prince Harry and his spouse have left the calendars open in anticipation that Queen Elizabeth will invite them.
