While they might not know it as yet, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be in for one of the biggest royal snubs of the year 2022.
It has been confirmed that Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are set to travel to America to host the annual Earthshot Prize.
It is unknown if the event will take place in California or New York.
Many predict that the heir to the throne might hold the lavish event on the West Coast because he will want to avoid The Big Apple due to the media circus that is set to take place around private citizen Andrew‘s humiliating trail.
Queen Elizabeth‘s son will go in front of a New York judge after he was hit with a civil lawsuit pertaining to a case of sexual assault.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge‘s big coming to America announcement has sparked a lot of excitement and chatter.
Many want to know if they do end up in the Golden State, will they meet Prince Harry and Meghan?
Others wonder if Prince Harry and his wife will serve as hosts for Prince William and Kate Middleton in their stunning Montecito mansion.
A royal author has revealed that it is not likely that the future king and queen of England will be staying with the California residents.
According to royal author Duncan Larcombe, because of the many wild and scandalous interviews that Prince Harry and the American star took part in, there is a bitter rift.
He went on to share that the nasty revelations from the Sussex couple have damaged their relationships with almost the entire royal family in England.
Many royal sources have revealed that Meghan Markle and her spouse are barely talking to Prince William and Prince Charles.
The author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story dropped the bombshell about a potential reunion between the Sussex couple and the Cambridges not happening.
He told OK! Magazine.: “An American trip was inevitable because they’re our closest ally, but it’s tricky because as things stand, there’s no way on earth that Prince William would want to share any part of an official royal tour representing the Queen, Britain and the Commonwealth with Prince Harry. What we’re seeing are increasing signs that Harry and Meghan are setting themselves up almost as a satellite royal family in America.”
He continued by explaining that some of his sources have revealed that Prince William has already taken the decision that if he does travel to Los Angeles, he will not invite his brother and sister-in-law to any public events because they are no longer working royals.
The royal commentator shared: “We don’t know the details of the trip yet, but last time William and Kate went to America, they went to a red carpet event with rising stars of British film in LA. Even if there’s an event arranged in LA this time, I’m told that Harry and Meghan wouldn’t be a part of it unless they were invited separately and privately.”
He added: “So there’s going to be no reunion of the fab four, that’s for certain. There will be a lot of focus on the visit purely because of the rift between the two brothers.”
It is almost certain that the reunion would not be able to take place in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s fancy mansion; it has been confirmed that the pair is ready to sell to an appropriate buyer.
