The pop diva called the former child actress a “scum” and a “liar” who is using her name and the pain caused by her family to make money.
Britney Spears slammed her sister for the release of a tell-all book entitled Things I Should Have Said to spread untruths about her situation.
Jamie Lynn Spears has been making a massive promotional round pushing the book.
She took part in multiple interviews, where she wept while dropping one bombshell after another about herself, her legendary sibling, and their parents.
Britney Spears remained calm in the past weeks. She even made an effort and reached out to her sister with a loving message and extended an olive branch.
However, on Friday night, Britney Spears had a drastic behavior change after Jamie Lynn Spears took to social media to reveal that she is “a NATIONAL BESTSELLING AUTHOR!” thanks to the controversial memoir.
The mother of two wrote: “I can’t believe I’m officially a NATIONAL BEST SELLING AUTHOR! I have no words except how grateful I am that I was able to share my story with y’all. This has been one of the most challenging and vulnerable things I have ever done, and I just honestly can’t thank y’all enough for the support and kindness✨?”
The title earned by Jamie Lynn Spears seems to have irked the singer/songwriter, and she decided to respond.
The dancer posted two snippets from The Real and The Talk where Adrienne Bailon and Akbar Gbajabiamila explained that Jamie Lynn Spears should have spoken privately to the “Oops… I Did it Again,” singer instead of airing their dirty laundry in public.
Britney Spears began her post by: “National bestseller ???? DUH ? …. the timing of your book was unbelievable Jamie Lynn … especially knowing the whole world had no clue what was really done to me !!!! My whole family, including you, is saying YOU DIDN’T KNOW …. Bullshit !!! But what these women are saying here is pretty clear !!!! I’m just kinda shocked that more people like these real soul sisters aren’t telling it like it is !!! Congrats best seller … I’m not surprised at all ????? !!”
Britney Spears went on to bash her sister for the timing of the release of the book.
Jamie Lynn Spears dropped the book about six weeks after Britney Spears made headlines after she was finally freed from a controversial conservatorship that lasted nearly 14 years.
Britney Spears showed support for Alexa Nikolas, who claimed that Jamie Lynn Spears bullied her while working on their hit Nickelodeon show Zoey 101.
The artist stated: “The nerve of you to sell a book now and talk shit but your fucking lying just like you lied about Alexa Nikolas !!!!
