In a few weeks, Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family are expected to gather alongside thousands of people who loved and appreciated her beloved husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, for a moving event.
Prince Philip’s memorial service will be held in early spring 2022. The somber event will be followed by humungous and majestic celebrations to mark Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
The 95-year-old Monarch has plans to mark the historical accomplishment with loud and unforgettable fanfare, including parties at Buckingham Palace, parades, and speeches.
While the four-day celebration is all about Her Majesty, once more, the spotlight is on Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.
The world awaits the announcement of their decision — will they or won’t they attend the festivities in honor of Elizabeth II?
And if the pair decides to travel to the UK, will Prince William swallow his pain and hurt and embrace his brother for the sake of her Majesty?
As of this moment, the situation looks murky at best. Recently, Prince Harry issued a statement explaining his difficulties in obtaining the proper private security for his family while in the Uk.
Prince Harry is gearing up for a legal fight with the British government that will go down in the history books.
The Duke of Sussex wants the Home Office to allow him to pay for adequate protection to travel to London this year.
However, the government has responded by saying that they will not back down, which implies that the case will be heading to the highest court in the land.
Many point out that the British prince’s recent actions are a way to indicate that his hands are tied, and he cannot travel to London with Markle and their two young children.
However, other royal pundits believe that Prince Harry released the statement to hint that he, along with Markle, would prefer to be by Queen Elizabeth’s side for the jubilee, but the situation is complicated.
One royal commentator weighed in on the matter and explained that Prince Harry and his wife’s trip to his homeland would not be smooth sailing.
Royal pundit Neil Sean shared that there will not be a welcome community for the power couple — certainly not from Prince William.
He claimed that Prince Harry and his spouse “still have a long way to go in mending their fractured relationships” with the royals in England.
He noted that the renegade pair has taken “two steps forward and then four back” when it comes to the royal family, and “their relationship with the monarchy has deteriorated somewhat” after they decided to step down from their royal duties in early 2020.
Speaking about the fractured brotherhood and ties between Prince Harry and Prince William, the expert said, “Prince William is still seething” over the explosive and damaging interviews that the Sussexes did one year ago.
The husband and wife made racist accusations and claimed they were abandoned by the Monarchy in their times of need.
Prince Harry also humiliated his older brother and his father, Prince Charles, by saying that they were trapped in the Kingdom.
The commentator stated that Prince Harry would have a tough time cleaning up the mess he did in regards to Prince William and added: “Prince Charles and Prince William have resigned themselves to the fact that Prince Harry really is well unreachable right now, and certainly for some time to come. So as for the brothers reconnecting, re-patching, and seemingly getting on, even at the forthcoming memorial for the former, as we know, wonderful Duke of Edinburgh in April at Westminster Abbey, that seems far out of reach.”
Multiple royal sources have revealed in the past weeks that the Duke of Sussex has been able to make great progress with his father but the same cannot be said about his relationship with his brother.
