Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, took a huge gamble when they decided to step down from their royal duties and move to California — but a royal expert has claimed that the pair have won their wild bet because they are thriving.
The same royal expert has revealed that the duo has plans to change their lifestyle this year because the coronavirus pandemic appears to be dying down — which means more public outings and visibilities.
Two years ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex bid farewell to England and purchased a multi-million dollar mansion in Montecito.
The pair are raising their two young children, Archie and Lilibet Diana.
They have been able to afford a lavish lifestyle amongst Hollywood’s top celebrities thanks to the many lucrative deals they have signed.
Markle and her husband faced a few scandals, (some were self-inflicted), and have caused major headaches in the royal family because of their controversial interviews.
According to royal expert Richard Mineards, who resides in the same area as the Sussex couple, they are more than happy in their new lives.
The powerful pair have been enjoying an extraordinary home that boasts of nine bedrooms, a fully equipped gym, a massive pool, and a large gardening area that allows the couple to have a mini farm.
Meghan Markle and her husband also have a massive tennis court to have fun and stay physically fit.
Royal expert Richard Mineards, who also lives in Montecito, says the pandemic saw the family lock down to keep their children safe.
Markle and Prince Harry’s neighbor spoke to the media and claimed that the duo went into lockdown when the pandemic first hit.
With the former actress was pregnant at the time and having young Archie, the couple remained secluded for almost a year to protect their children.
The royal expert revealed that now “the worst of the crisis seemingly over,” there is a big possibility that Prince Harry and Markle will drastically change their lifestyle and be out more with their celebrity friends.
The former royal correspondent told the Evening Standard that most recently Prince Harry has been spotted out and about taking part in his favorite activity and added: “Harry’s been out on his bicycle and walking his adopted Labrador on Miramar Beach, and she’s been out shopping in both the upper village and lower village, and they seem to be very, very happy as far as I can see.”
He went on to say: “They’ve made a lot of friends here, particularly Orlando and Katy, who live nearby on Park Lane. They also have good friendships with Ellen and Oprah, who live minutes away, so they may well have been going over there and vice versa with the children.”
He also pointed out that Prince Harry and his spouse have picked the ideal location to live and raise their children.
The writer said that Cold Spring School is a “very, very good” public school that they could send Archie to when he is the right age.
If the expert’s comments are correct and that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to make up for lost time and go out more in 2022, it implies that they might attend Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee in June.
Some royal pundits believe that Prince Harry is hinting that he wants to be by the Queen‘s side with his unprecedented lawsuit against the British government because they denied his request to pay for private security for his family when they travel to the UK.
