This week, Prince Harry‘s legal representative told the High Court that Britain “will always be his home” while asking to review the government’s refusal to provide him and his family with adequate police protection.

Many royal pundits see it as a sign/hint that the power couple wants to return to England despite the rumors saying the contrary.

And now Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have decided to put their money where their mouths are, according to their latest expensive move.

There have been a lot of reports flying around the Internet about the pair’s travel plans to London this year.

However, it seems that there is a possibility Markle, her spouse, and their young children might make it to Europe after all.

Many royal fans and experts have been wondering will they return to the UK to attend the memorial service for Prince Phillip in the spring and the celebrations around Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee in the summer.

However, on Sunday, it was confirmed that Markle and her husband spent a small fortune to once more renew their lease on Frogmore Cottage.

According to the reliable report that came out via the Telegraph, the British prince and the former Hollywood star will extend their lease on the 10-bedroom estate for another year.

Prince Harry and the aspiring politician have not lived there since 2020 when they exited the UK to build their new lives in California.

The exact amount that the duo is paying to rent the home is not known. In 2021, the couple cut a massive $3.3 million check to cover rent and renovations made to the estate.

The stunning home is now being used by Princess Eugenie and her family.

For the past few months, royal commentators have predicted that while there was some hope that Prince Harry might be traveling to England alone, there was little chance that Markle would ever step foot in the European country.

It was claimed that the retired American actress would lean on Prince Harry’s bombshell lawsuit against the Queen’s government to say she cannot visit the UK.

Prince Harry is taking the Home Office to the highest court in the land because they do not want to give him the authorization to pay for his own security.

Prince Harry explained that he has many threats against him, and he does not feel safe bringing Markle and their children — Archie and Lilibet Diana — to England.

Royal expert Camilla Tominey said that Markle might not be eager to return to England and added: “It was the same when Harry came over for Prince Philip’s funeral. What this seems to be about is the policing of the couple’s private visits to the UK – but surely, by their very nature, they pose no significant security risk? Celia Walden wrote a shrewd piece in these pages on Tuesday, in which she suggested that ‘bored Harry is trying to tell us he wants to come home. But maybe what the Sussexes are really trying to tell us is that Meghan categorically doesn’t. Only time will tell.”

Royal author Robert Jobson said he did not expect a visit from the Duchess of Sussex to the UK and went on to say: “I’m not sure Meghan will ever come to Britain again. She’s not popular [right] now. I’m not sure Meghan will ever come to Britain again. She’s not popular [right] now.”

The news that Prince Harry and his wife have renewed their lease emerged around the same time that Queen Elizabeth has tested positive for COVID-19.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement that she has “been experiencing mild cold-like symptoms and expected to continue with light duties.”

Some say that this could push the power couple to return to the UK later this year.
