Kim Kardashian‘s divorce process will drag on a little bit longer than she wants to because Kanye West is making sure to fight back in the strangest ways.
West has found time to attack Kardashian in court despite being super busy with Julia Fox and Chaney Jones, his music, and concerts.
It has been confirmed via a series of court documents that leaked online through TMZ that Kardashian and her army of lawyers recently returned to a judge in California to plead that she be granted single status.
The former Keeping up with the Kardashians star, who filed for divorce over one year ago, told the judge that she wants the divorce to be finalized as soon as possible.
Kardashian said that she has been going through emotional distress because of West’s decision to constantly harass her with his numerous posts on social media about her and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Even though millions of people have shared West’s wild messages and rants and they were trending topics on Twitter, he claims that Kardashian cannot use them in court.
Official documents revealed that the rapper billionaire and his attorneys have objected to Kardashian’s decision to use his scandalous Instagram posts in court.
West’s legal representatives said that Kardashian has no way of proving that he is the one who wrote the bitter posts.
The MC’s lawyers shared: “Kim claims she read something online allegedly by Kanye and characterizes the posts in her declaration as misinformation. The social media posts are not attached to the declaration.”
The objection continued: “Kim needed to offer the social media posts into evidence and show that Kanye wrote the posts. Had that been done, the posts would be admissible as statements of a party opponent. Instead, Kim argues a point that is not in the record. The statement is inadmissible hearsay … so Kanye asks that it be stricken.”
Many find West’s argument baffling because he recently posted a message with a picture of himself with a sign that said he was not hacked, confirming that he is the one behind the Instagram content.
In one of his posts, West claimed that Kardashian kidnapped one daughter and slammed her for being a failed mother for letting another one join TikTok.
He also publicly threatened the Saturday Night Live star. West savagely destroyed Kardashian’s character for several weeks and eventually deleted the posts.
He later apologized to his estranged wife for the menacing posts and promised to change his ways. Hours after the lengthy apology, West let his bad habits have the best of him, and he started harassing Kardashian and her boyfriend again.
