Kanye West, who has been under fire lately for his menacing notes about Kim Kardashian‘s boyfriend, Pete Davidson, has decided to defend himself and his craft in his latest Instagram post.
Last week, West sparked outrage from anonymous followers and well-known celebrities after unveiling the music video for “Easy.”
In the animated video, the billionaire rapper decided to kidnap and bury Pete Davidson alive.
West’s jaw-dropping clip has a bizarre ending. The last scene features the message: “Everyone lived happily ever after. Except You Know Who.”
The name Skete, the nickname that West created to mock and harras Davidson appears crossed out after the word “except.”
The track also features disturbing lyrics where West says he is thankful to have survived an accident in order to beat Davidson.
He rapped: “God saved me from this crash / Just so I could beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”
After getting slammed by a long list of people, Kanye West has taken to his official Instagram page to explain himself, his art, and his motives for the eerie video.
Julia Fox‘s ex-boyfriend said that he uses his art as a form of therapy. West also claimed that he has the right to free speech and therefore he can express himself however he chooses.
He wrote: “Art is therapy just like this view.
art is protected as freedom of speech
art inspires and simplifies the world
Art is not a proxy for any ill or harm.
Any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and mal intended ?.”
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Kim Kardashian, who has been dating the Saturday Night Live star for less than a year, is beyond angry over her estranged husband’s insensitive actions.
A reliable source spoke to PEOPLE Magazine and said the following: “She is furious. She thinks it’s way too violent and is upset. She’s really upset with Kanye that he’d do this. She’s completely over all of this, and she wants it to stop.”
Previously, the 41-year-old SKIMS mogul sent a text to West telling him his odd messages and songs would push someone to harm Davidson.
West leaked the message where Kardashian said: “U are creating a dangerous and scary environment, and someone will hurt Pete, and this will all be your fault.”
West replied by: “I will always do everything to protect you and our family forever. And I listened to you and told everyone to make sure nothing physical happens to Skete.”‘
West is doing things his own way.
