The Barbadian-born singer, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky recently did an interview with Elle where she opened up about her high-profile pregnancy and shared some big news about when her baby will be born.
Rihanna was also seen shopping at Target, and she might have just revealed the gender of her baby. Rihanna was seen picking up several pretty dresses, indicating that she is having a baby girl.
Rihanna has also been willing to give a clue about her due date.
Rihanna, who announced to the world that she is expecting in early February, told the publication that she had entered her third trimester.
The artist and makeup maven said something that resonated with millions of women worldwide. There are days she is floating on air and enjoying her pregnancy glow, and there are other times when it is hard to get out of bed and get dressed.
While on the red carpet for a Fenty event, a reporter had this question for the mother-to-be: “You’re glowing! Is it Fenty Beauty, or is it pregnancy glow? Are they working together?”
Rihanna responded by: “There’s a pregnancy glow, and there’s also those days, girl. Especially in the third trimester, where you wake up, and you’re like, oh, do I have to get dressed?”
The shrewd businesswoman went on to explain that makeup certainly helps her feel like herself, and she went on to give a few tips to pregnant women by saying: “Makeup for sure helps you feel like a real person. I just focused a lot on moisturizing and on contouring. The face gets a little round and chubby. The nose starts to spread.”
The fierce artist went on to say that she views it all as a challenge, and she is up to it.
She added: “Everything is a challenge, from getting dressed and how you’re going to do your makeup. But I like challenges. I like things that force me to be creative and create in new ways. And with beauty, there’s so much that you can do.”
Rihanna, who is a real fan of reality TV, was asked to share which famous moms she will emulate.
The journalist asked: “You’re a Bravo TV fan—which Real Housewives mom are you most looking towards now that you’re going to be a mom?”
Rihanna responded: “Heather Dubrow is so chic while being a mom. I just love the way that she just allows her kids to be who they are. And that’s really inspiring to me. But Teresa [Giudice] from Jersey does not play about her kids. She will flatten you about those kids. And that resonates with me a lot because I feel like that’s the type of mom I’m going to be. Psycho about it.”
Since breaking her pregnancy news with a daring and sexy photoshoot in the middle of the snow, Rihanna has been pushing the fashion boundaries with her unique and now iconic maternity styles.
The fashion designer has dared to wear sheer lingerie to events.
She went for short leather pants and a jacket with nothing underneath for a fancy dinner and opted for a shimmery skirt and crop top to launch her latest products.
