It is the most anticipated book of the year — Prince Harry‘s upcoming memoir will hit physical and digital bookshelves by the end of the year.
The Duke of Sussex signed a massive $20 million contract with a publishing company to share his story.
However, reports claimed that Meghan Markle‘s husband was once more going to talk about the royal family.
It is hard for Prince Harry to reveal intimate and painful details about his childhood and not mention certain characters who played significant parts.
Those characters include his father, Prince Charles, whom he called a failed parent who let generational pain infiltrate his young years.
Prince Harry’s stepmother and the second wife of Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, also played a central role in the Duke’s life.
Bowles’s tumultuous affair with Prince Charles, while he was married to Princess Diana, is well documented.
Prince Harry did not mince his words while talking about the Brtish family in his most recent interviews. Meghan Markle also had a few choice words.
The powerful couple claimed they were abandoned, and racism accusations were levied.
All these elements had royal pundits and aficionados believing that Prince Harry was writing a juicy tell-all that would contain bombshell revelations and earth-shattering truth bombs about his relatives.
However, a pal of Prince Harry has revealed that is not the case.
Close royal sources have revealed that Prince Harry has no plans to slam or attack Queen Elizabeth II or the British clan.
Royal expert Omid Scobie, who has close ties to Markle and Prince Harry, said on the Royally Obsessed podcast: “Harry really is going out of his way to make sure that there isn’t material in there that can be seen as negative towards the Queen or her reign in any way whatsoever.”
He went on to explain that Prince Harry will “celebrate” the Queen’s life and his relationship with her in the much-anticipated book.
The author and close ally of Prince Harry has hinted that many will be disappointed because he is not taking the bombshell route with the book.
He said: “I think as much as the press wants this to be a burn book and an attack on the institution, this is more just about his story.”
He added: “Of course, his story is so much more than just the few years of his life as the Duke of Sussex. I think for people expecting that warts-and-all moment, it’s not going to happen. That said, it’s still going to be fascinating.”
When Prince Harry announced the book, he said in a statement at the time: “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born, but as the man, I have become. I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learnt — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”
It seems that the news of Prince Harry’s selfless gesture has not reassured his family as yet.
Multiple friends of Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, have claimed that they are worried about what Prince Harry will write about.
