Kanye West is not too pleased with a recent report that surfaced revealing what was supposed to be a private conversation between him and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
The controversial rapper has decided to address the matter via one of his close friends.
A source close to Kim Kardashian spoke to Page Six this week and revealed that Kanye West has decided to focus on his mental well-being.
The person familiar with the situation claimed that West had a heart-to-heart with the TV star and shared his plans to go away to an undisclosed location to get the proper help that he needed.
West did not say where he was going nor when he would return. According to the source, the rapper and fashion designer took drastic measures to change his life around for the sake of his four young children.
After his countless Instagram posts blasting and harassing Kardashian and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, many applauded West for the move.
The report that was published read: “For the sake of the kids, Kanye has told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements, and he will go away somewhere to get better.”
A pal of West has reached out to Yahoo and stated that the conversation with Kardashian never took place.
According to media personality and the head of Hollywood Unlocked, Jason Lee, the story about West telling Kardashian that he is seeking mental aid is not correct.
Lee, a representative for West, told the media outlet that West monitors stories being written about him and the latest one from a Kardashian insider is inaccurate.
According to the spokesperson, West is unhappy about the claim because it compromises his family.
He explained: “Ye monitors all headlines pertaining to him and his family daily. Most all are being fed to media by ‘sources close to the Kardashians,’ which have been creating a false narrative that not only is untrue but further compromises his goal of creating a healthy environment for the beautiful children he shares with Kim. He’s been focused on taking care of himself, being a present and loving father and a creative genius well before all the false headlines we’ve seen as recent.”
He added: “If you don’t hear it from his mouth, read it from his social media, or get it from a press release he approved, it’s simply false.”
Kim Kardashian was seen alone at a soccer game with all her children earlier this week, which made it believable that Kanye West went away because the doting father rarely misses these family gatherings.
However, his rep has confirmed that is not the case. Meanwhile, West seems to be busy spreading love and joy around him.
West’s girlfriend, Chaney Jones, took to Instagram, where she posted a photo of the $275,000 metallic silver Birkin that he recently gifted her.
