Prince Harry is hard at work on his upcoming memoir that will be out later this year, and he has been very effective at keeping the content secret.
The British prince has signed a massive $20 million deal for a tell-all book that will give unprecedented access to the Palace’s walls.
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is expected to share his personal story from his childhood days, being a soldier, his marriage to Meghan Markle, and their decision to move to California to become independent royals.
Since the publishing company made the book’s announcement, there have been many rumors flying around about the content of the potential best-seller.
Several media outlets have reported that Prince Harry will do a continuation of his bombshell interviews with the book and keep on putting his father, Prince Charles, and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, on blast.
Many royal experts have predicted that Prince Harry will share more of his grievances and humiliate the British monarchy once again.
However, recently, a royal expert and close friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has confirmed that many will be surprised by the memoir.
During his appearance on the Royally Obsessed podcast, the co-author of Finding Freedom, Omid Scobie, said that one thing is certain — Prince Harry will have nothing but praises for his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Discussing the expectations for the book, he explained: “I’ve been told by sources that Harry really is going out of his way to make sure that there isn’t material in there that could be seen as negative toward the queen or her reign in any way whatsoever, and he really wants to celebrate her life and his relationship with her in that book.”
He added: “I think as much as the press wants this to be a burn book and an attack on the institution, [Harry’s memoir] is more just about his story—and of course, there’s a lot more to it than the few years of his life as the Duke of Sussex.”
He went on to praise Prince Harry for accomplishing the amazing feat of keeping his book a secret.
According to the royal journalist, not “even those working directly on this project still don’t know the contents of it—they’re doing an incredible job of keeping it secret for as long as possible.”
Prince Harry is going to surprise many observers if he decides to take the high road with the book.
