According to Palace insiders, Meghan Markle made a revelation that rattled the royal family and left Prince William more than upset.
During her memorable sit-down with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle opened up about being confronted with racism by a royal family member and being deprived of the mental help that she needed when she was having suicidal thoughts.
However, according to a friend of the royal family, Prince William was left disgusted by Meghan Markle’s decision to share with the public the very private apology that she received from Kate Middleton.
Tina Brown, a friend of Princess Diana, also revealed that Prince William viewed Meghan Markle’s interview as an attack on his wife.
In her interview with Oprah Winfrey, with Prince Harry sitting by her side, Markle decided to open up for the first time about a widely-reported incident during the preparations leading up to her royal wedding.
It was speculated that the former American actress had the Duchess of Cambridge in tears over an undisclosed row.

The Telegraph Magazine that Prince William was angry that Meghan Markle shared such a private moment with millions of viewers.
According to the author, Prince William is expected to get even more upset when Prince Harry releases his upcoming memoir, where he will apparently go after his father, Prince Charles, and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles.
She said: “William was disgusted about Meghan’s attack on Kate because she can’t answer back. But that’s nothing compared to how furious he’s going to be when this book comes out.”
Brown also explained that Prince Harry “can’t stand” his stepmother but has a lot of respect for Queen Elizabeth and Kate Middleton and will not humiliate them.
During the interview, Markle explained that the exchange and disagreement over a bridesmaid dress with Middleton made her cry. She also revealed that Kate Middleton did eventually offer a heartfelt apology.
Meghan Markle confessed: “It was a really hard week of the wedding, and she was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologized, and she brought me flowers and a note apologizing, and she did what I would do if I knew that I hurt someone. To just take accountability for it.”
The aspiring politician continued: “What was hard to get over was being blamed for something that not only I didn’t do, but that happened to me and the people that were a part of my wedding going to my comms team, saying, I know this didn’t happen. I don’t have to tell them what actually happened, but i can at least go on the record saying, ‘She didn’t make her cry.
She concluded: “Everyone in the institution knew it wasn’t true. I am not sharing that piece about Kate to be in any way disparaging about her. I would hope that she would want that to be corrected.”
Markle said that she believes that her sister-in-law is a good person. The Duchess of Sussex went on to drop the bombshell that she believes Middleton was told not to address or rectify the faux reports that she made her cry.
Markle said that the hurtful narrative about the row made her change her mind about royal life. She shared: “I think that’s when everything changed, really.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle eventually left the royal family.
