Prince William Takes Steps To Avoid New Drama With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle Prince Harry UK Visit

Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, were notably absent from the meeting/reunion between Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Harry.

The Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, surprised many by briefly returning to England together two years after “Megxit” occurred.

Markle and Prince Harry had a 15-minute meeting with Prince Charles before being granted an audience with Her Majesty.

Prince Harry and Markle quickly left for The Hague to participate in The Invictus Games without seeing Prince William, his wife, and their three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children were on a fun-filled holiday in the French Alps skiing.

Royal experts weighed in on Prince William’s decision not to see his brother face to face by saying that it shows that the royal rift between the pair is present and still growing.

It has been claimed that the relationship took a turn for the worse since the bombshell interviews where Prince Harry said his brother was trapped in the royal family and made racist accusations.

The heir to the throne is also furious over Markle’s unforgivable sin — she stained Kate Middleton’s reputation by revealing that she made her cry before her wedding.

Royal correspondent Robert Jobson said that it was “significant” that Prince William and Kate Middleton “were not involved in the meeting between Harry and Meghan.”

Jobson told The Mirror that the future king most likely stayed away to avoid further drama with his brother and sister-in-law.

He claimed that there are certain conditions that need to be met for them to break bread and added: “Hopefully, in time, the royal brothers too can break bread and end this new war of the Wales’s, which is in danger of turning into one of the fictional soap style dramas Meghan used to star in. For William to do that, however, Harry will have to show that he (and his team of PR image gurus and advisers) can keep their counsel at this early and delicate stage. If not, this promising development would all have been for nothing.”

He went on to say that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles were exemplary in the way they handled the situation with Prince Harry.

Jobson continued: “But Charles and the Queen showed that – after all the back-hand behavior by the Sussexes’ particularly the Oprah interview debacle and the snub over Prince Philip’s thanksgiving service – that, for them, family and duty always come first.
If bridges are to be built, then the foundations must be laid. I am delighted Harry has seen sense and asked to meet his father and Her Majesty.”

It will take a lot of time before the British royal family can really come together.
