Unwillingly or willingly, it seems that Prince Harry‘s latest dramatic confession about wanting to make sure aging Queen Elizabeth II is “protected” has prompted not only fury and disgust but concrete action.
Reliable royal sources have revealed to the Daily Mail that Prince William, his wife, Kate Middleton, and their three children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 3, are getting ready for a big move.
The Duke of Cambridge and his family will go live closer to the aging Monarch who currently resides at Windsor Castle.
It has been revealed that the heir to the throne, along with his spouse, Catherine Middleton, are eyeing a relocation to Adelaide Cottage.
A royal insider told The Sun: “Finding a way to make Adelaide Cottage work seems to be the best and only option. There are issues with all the other houses, so Adelaide will be the favorite.”
According to the British media, the Queen decided in 1941 that Adelaide Cottage would be a “grace and favor” property for family and friends.
Princess Margaret‘s lover, Group Captain Peter Townsend, lived in the home from 1944 to 1952.
The magnificent property is located about short 10 minutes walking distance from Queen Elizabeth.
The move implies that the Cambridges can visit the Queen as often as possible. The pair can also respond quickly if ever the 96-year-old has an emergency.
It is believed that Queen Elizabeth is in need of all the support from her family and senior aides that she can get.
The last 14 months have been complicated and somewhat painful for Queen Elizabeth, who lost her husband, Prince Philip, had a brief hospital stay and was hit by the coronavirus.
The Sovereign has been forced to cancel multiple royal engagements and no longer takes part in public events.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge picked Adelaide Cottage because it was recently refurbished and would be ideal for the family to move in almost immediately.
Prince William’s decision was revealed after his self-exiled brother, Prince Harry, took part in an interview and revealed his desire to protect his grandmother.
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle paid the Queen a rare and surprise visit for tea, he took part in an interview with NBC’s TODAY show where he confessed: “I’m just making sure she’s protected and got the right people around her. We talk about things that she can’t talk about with anybody else.”
