Prince William Changes These Royal Protocols Ahead Of Reunion With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle For The Jubilee

Meghan Markle Prince Harry William Kate Middleton Possible Reunion

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to reunite with Prince William and Kate Middleton in the upcoming weeks.

However, it seems that it will be a rather unexpected meeting where all acquaintances have become strangers for many reasons.

While the world has been closely following all the changes that Prince Harry and Markle have been through since “Megxit,” Prince William and his spouse have been undergoing some significant transformations — but they have been done in a more subtle/quiet manner.

This week, Prince Harry and Markle made it official with a statement via their spokesperson that they will travel to London and attend Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee in June with their young children.

While Prince Harry and Markle will not be allowed to make any appearances on Buckingham Palace’s balcony, they will face Prince William and Middleton.

The showdown or reunion between the foursome that was once dubbed the “Fab Four” will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral on June 3rd for a thanksgiving service in honor of the Queen’s 70-year reign.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to meet a very different Prince William, who has decided to change the way he does things and seriously shake up the Monarchy.

Palace sources have revealed that Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and his spouse recently faced a disastrous tour in the Caribbean where they represented Queen Elizabeth and were hoping to convince several countries to keep her as head of state.

Kate Middleton and Prince William not only failed to keep the countries as part of the United Kingdom but they were also hit with multiple protests and were left red-faced with embarrassment over events and photos that reminded the world of the colonial/slavery era.

Upon their return to London, the future king of England started mulling specific changes that were fast-tracked by Prince Harry and Markle’s trip to launch the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

Some of the changes include the future king and queen of England no longer being called by their royal titles. They simply want to be known by their first names, Kate and William.

The pair will ban bows and curtsies, get rid of stuffy royal protocols, and ditch stiff royal traditions.

A royal source told The Mirror: “They want to be more approachable, less formal, less stuffy, and breakaway with a lot of the tradition. The prince plans to tear up the rule book to move with the times.”

The insider went on to say: “They went over everything and pinpointed specific things that went wrong and how to improve moving forward. The general consensus was that the tour seemed out of date, out of touch, too formal, and stuffy. So now it’s more ‘Wills and Kate’ instead of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge… ‘Just call me Wills’ type of thing.”

In contrast, the royal insider said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were perceived as “down-to-earth, normal people” when they attended the Invictus Games in Holland last month.

The source added: “If they could wave a magic wand and go back in time, they would change almost everything about the Caribbean tour. William and Kate are now both very aware that to certain parts of the world and to the younger generations, the Monarchy is a symbol of colonialism and a time gone by. Now, it seems silly to have celebrated that and push royal traditions during the tour.”

A royal expert weighed in by saying that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were “gaining power,” and the Cambridges have been forced to steal a page from them.

Kate Middleton and Prince William changed their communications strategy after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed they were “gaining soft power,” according to a commentator.

Eric Schiffer, a reputation management expert, told Express that Markle and Prince Harry are successfully connecting “at an emotional and value level” with young people across the world by championing causes close to their hearts — such as equality and the environment and they “are gaining soft power.”

He continued: “It has certainly caused William and Catherine to find new ways to connect, show more of their humanity, to be more active in ways that demonstrate their values aligning with young people – not just in Britain but also around the world. They are stealing a page back from Meghan and Harry’s playbook, and it is being successful in the UK.”

According to some reports, there is still a possibility that the four royals do not cross paths in June.
