Before Prince Harry even steps foot in England with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children — it is being reported that he has some members of the royal family running scared.
Prince Harry and his family have announced that they will travel to England in June to attend Queen Elizabeth‘s Jubilee.
Many believe that Prince Harry will use the opportunity to fix his broken relationship with his older brother — that would be welcome news for Queen Elizabeth, who is said to be desperate to see her family come together and resolve their personal issues.
Now a source close to Prince William has spoken to The Sun and explained that he is on the same page — he wants to talk to Prince Harry, but there is a major sticking point.
The heir to the throne fears that his private conversations with his younger brother will rapidly be leaked to the media or, worse — Prince Harry will share everything on one of his Netflix documentaries or his upcoming tell-all book.
The royal source claimed: “William wants to talk to Harry to try to heal the rift between them, but he’s fearful it will find its way onto Netflix, Oprah, or into Harry’s upcoming book.”
Many royal experts say that Prince William’s worries are validated because Prince Harry and Markle have a well-documented track record of selling the Palace’s secrets to the highest bidder.
A case in point is the bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview and Prince Harry’s most recent chit-chat with NBC, where he spoke about his private audience with Queen Elizabeth.
Author and biographer Tom Bower told The Sun on the matter: “William will worry that Harry and Meghan will pull a stunt to try to get the limelight. Kate and William would be foolish not to be suspicious and would be unwise not to be cautious.”
Royal expert Eric Schiffer also shared his thoughts on the situation by saying that Prince Harry will drop more damaging claims in his memoir that is due out later this year.
He warned the British royal family that Prince Harry might include more revelations “potentially disfiguring to the image of the royals.”
He said via the Express: “The book, I am sure, will be hobbling in some ways to the monarchy. And create a further perception of maiming by Harry. Not to suggest that this isn’t his truth, because it may well be his authentic pain that he chooses to further share – perhaps including stories related to his wife’s challenges as well. But I expect further spontaneous combustion.”
He continued: “You are going to see, I think, more spontaneous combustion that may not be as horrific as some of the allegations from before but still, I think, potentially disfiguring to the image of the royals. ”
Reports have surfaced that the Palace’s courtiers will make sure that the Netflix cameras that are following Markle and Prince Harry will not be allowed in royal properties, including Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, during the Platinum Jubilee’s festivities.
