Queen Elizabeth Puts Her Foot Down To Protect Her Dignity Around Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle Prince Harry UK Trip Rules

In an official statement, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry confirmed that they would be joining the royal family for the festivities in June around the Platinum Jubilee.

The power couple will travel with their young children — Archie and Lilibet Diana.

Lilibet Diana will be meeting Queen Elizabeth for the first time.

Prince Harry and Markle’s daughter will also celebrate her first birthday with the Queen and the rest of the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to fly to London with a large camera crew that will follow their every move as they film one of the most anticipated Netflix documentaries.

While Prince Harry and Markle were free to capture every aspect of their trip to Holland on film, they will not be authorized to do the same in England.

It has been revealed that while Queen Elizabeth II is eager and happy to be reunited with her grandson, Prince Harry, and his family for the Jubilee — she has decided to take measures to protect herself and her dignity.

Many royal aides have spoken to The Daily Mail to say that certain measures have been taken to ensure that the cameras do not film private or secret moments and conversations between the Queen and her family.

Her Majesty, 96, is battling health and mobility issues and uses a cane and sometimes a golf cart to get around.

It is speculated that she also relies on a wheelchair to get from point A to point B.

The Queen wants to be seen in a dignified and regal manner despite her health issues and does not want any pictures and videos of her using the help of Buckingham Palace aides or relying on technology/medical equipment to get around.

To make sure that Her Majesty gets her wish, she has set up what has been dubbed a “ring of steel” to prevent any attempts by Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, to feature any footage of her in their latest project.

Royal expert Russell Myers believes Buckingham Palace aides have enacted a strict cordon around the Queen and have advised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to not even think about using the monarch as a means of sourcing royal content for Netflix.

In an interview with TODAY, the royal expert said: “There is an absolutely a ring of steel around the Queen in terms of her advisors. I mean, they certainly would be advising Harry and Megan to not even think about it for a second, but who knows what they will do?”

He went on to explain that Prince Harry was able to break the rules after he had a secret meeting with Queen Elizabeth and rushed to take part in an interview on NBC.

The royal pundit shared: “They would definitely have been advised not to speak to Oprah Winfrey, not to speak to Gayle King, not to speak to the American journalists last week, and yet they still keep on doing it. I mean, it makes you wonder how much the family can take anymore, and I’m sure Prince William has got his head in his hands as Prince Charles as every time they pop up on the television.”

Prince William is also said to be concerned that his private conversations with Prince Harry will leak to the media via interviews or will appear in the documentary.

In late 2020, Markle and Prince Harry signed a multi-million-dollar deal with the streaming giant that is now struggling to stay afloat to fleeing subscribers and fierce competitors such as Hulu and Disney.

Prince Harry and his wife are feeling pressure more than ever to produce quality and marketable content after receiving their massive check.

Most recently, Markle’s animated series Pearl received the news that it was a no go with Netflix.
