After several hiccups, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are set to reunite with the royal family in June.
Markle and Prince Harry have announced via their spokesperson that they will attend Queen Elizabeth‘s Platinum Jubilee celebrations with their children — Archie and Lilibet Diana.
The aging Queen, who has been battling multiple health matters and is struggling with mobility, is said to be delighted to have her entire family by her side as she marks her 70th year on the throne.
The festivities around Queen Elizabeth’s historic milestone will include an additional special event – Markle and Prince Harry’s daughter, Lilibet Diana, will celebrate her birthday.
On June 4th, Lilibet Diana will turn one year old and mark the occasion with the royals.
It is believed that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, who were eager and even desperate to meet her, will celebrate the joyous occasion with Lilibet Diana.
The child is also expected to be surrounded by her three cousins.
Royal insiders have revealed Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — have a loving relationship with Prince Harry despite being miles away from them.
A royal insider revealed to Us Weekly that Prince William and Kate Middleton had done a fine job raising their children.
The person familiar with the situation explained that Princess Charlotte is lovely and kind and has a special bond with her uncle, whom she views as a role model.
The source added: “They’re incredibly fond of him also. Charlotte will send everyone in the family thoughtful gifts and cards, and at the very least, they’ll call as a family to sing happy birthdays and so on.”
It was also revealed that Prince Harry misses his niece and nephews and looks forward to being reunited with them.
An American TV host and actress recently claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s primary goal during their trip to London is to be with the royal family, which is why they are not bothered by the Queen’s decision not to have them on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Speaking to Daily Pop on E! News, presenter Loni Love said: “First of all, Meghan and Harry asked to come to the Jubilee. They didn’t ask to be on the balcony, so I think that’s the thing. I think this is more about Prince Andrew and making sure he’s not on it than Harry and Meghan. They just added Harry and Meghan, so it wouldn’t look like they snubbed Andrew.”
She added: “They just added Harry and Meghan so it wouldn’t look like they snubbed Andrew. The thing that Harry and Meghan reportedly want to do is make sure that their grandchildren meet the Queen.”
The Sussex couple and their children are expected to stay in England for four days. Their schedule appearances have not yet been revealed to the public.
