Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, decided to create their own path in the world by stepping down from their royal duties in early 2020.
Bidding the royal life adieu, the power couple moved to a multi-million dollar mansion in California.
To pay for their expensive lifestyle and security, Markle and Prince Harry opted to sign a series of lucrative deals with Netflix, Spotify, and a major publishing company for a book due out later this year.
Prince Harry and Markle’s departure implied that other senior royals had to pick up the slack. Many patronages given to Prince Harry and Markle were redistributed to Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Camilla Parker Bowles.
However, the former soldier and Markle’s decision to depart the royal family has left a void.
According to two royal experts, Meghan Markle and her spouse are responsible for what is called the “charisma vacancy.”
Prince Diana once filled it, and after her passing, it took several years for Prince Harry to find a wife who could do the job.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have ways to captivate a worldwide audience with their presence and every word.
After much searching, the royal family has found two ideal and unexpected replacements.
According to a royal author, since “Megxit,” the position has been filled by Prince William and Kate Middleton’s two oldest children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George of Cambridge.
Princess Charlotte, much like her uncle Prince Harry stands out with her bold and sassy personality.
Cele Otnes, co-author of Royal Fever: The British Monarchy in Consumer Culture, explained to Express: “There’s a great quote where Tina [Brown] says one of the big problems with Harry and Meghan leaving the brand is that now there is this ‘charisma vacancy.’ I love that. So Diana clearly filled the charisma vacancy when Diana was part of [the Royal Family].”
The professor of marketing specializing in the Royal Family explained that the monarchy needs the charisma factor to push its image.
In 2022, the royal family discovered violently that they needed charismatic personalities to keep the monarchy alive.
The royals were hit with multiple protests in Canada and the Caribbean for making millions off the back of enslaved people and people of color.
The professor added that only Princess Charlotte and her older brother could resolve the matter: “What you want is people have to have a personality or at least some of them do. So Princess Anne is not someone one would say is charismatic, nor does she care. I would say Prince Charles has more charisma than people give him credit for, but what holds him back from expressing that is that he seems to just wallow in self-pity and a lack of self-confidence, which is, I think, completely unwarranted.”
She went on to reveal why Princess Charlotte and Prince George are ideal for the job: “So who do we have in the Royal Family that can help fill a charisma vacancy? Well, one that does, not through speech, but through visuals are William and Catherine’s children.”
Princess Charlotte delighted royal watchers with a sassy remark outside of Prince Louis‘s christening.
On multiple occasions, Princess Charlotte has been photographed sticking out her tongue during royal outings, and she also scolds the photographers who follow her and her family around.
The princess, who was three at the time, showed she was a force to be reckoned with when she told photographers: “You’re not coming.”
The young Cambridge children will be joining Queen Elizabeth II on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during her birthday parade.
Prince Harry and Markle will not be on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
