Prince Harry’s Most Recent Confession About Queen Elizabeth Might Be True After All

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, briefly flew to England to meet with Queen Elizabeth II in late April.

The Sussex couple was heading to The Netherlands when they decided to make a quick stop in the UK to have tea with Her Majesty.

Soon after the visit, Prince Harry took part in an interview on NBC, where he raised eyebrows by saying that he wanted to protect his grandmother.

However, the British prince also made a sweet confession off-camera by saying that he has a special relationship with Her Majesty, and she tells him secrets.

Many were left baffled by the comments, and others claimed that Prince Harry was inventing wild stories to stay relevant.

In a new interview, a royal author with ties to the famous British family has revealed that it is true that Prince Harry and Her Majesty have an unbreakable connection that was forged in tragedy.

Royal biographer Andrew Morton has claimed that Queen Elizabeth, 96, has a soft spot and unique place in her heart for Prince Harry because she is aware of how hard it has been for him since the death of his mother, Princess Diana, in 1997.

At the age of 12, Prince Harry lost his mother due to a horrific car crash in Paris.

The writer said in a recent interview where he was promoting his new book, The Queen: “The Queen has a soft spot for Prince Harry because of the tragic nature of his mother Princess Diana’s death and his struggles to cope with it.”

He explained that the unique relationship and strong bond that exists between the grandmother and her grandson makes it possible for him to be a priority over other people.

The royal expert shared: “The Queen’s got a soft spot for Harry, and he can jump over, I mean, courtiers will have an appointment with the Queen, and it’ll be three weeks hence, he can turn up at Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle walk in say “Hi” and get the Queen to say be involved in the Invictus Games.”

He went on to reveal: “So yeah, the Queen has got a soft spot for Harry because obviously, the tragic nature of his mother’s death, and he struggles to cope with that. His mental struggles. He’s cursed with charisma in a way. When I see him on royal engagements, it’s very much like watching Diana kneeling down and hugging kids. It’s remarkable.”

He also opened up about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s shocking decision to step down from their royal duties and move to California.

He said the move was uncalled for but believes that Queen Elizabeth understood because, as a newlywed, she relocated with her then-husband, Prince Phillip, to start building their family life.

The royal author claimed: “Well, it was abrupt. A lot of it was uncalled for. But at the same time, the Queen will recognize that they’ve got a young family. [Meghan] is American, and she’ll cast her mind back to her own life. Because she and [her late husband] Prince Philip went off to Malta for a few years shortly after they were married, and they expected to be on the fringes of the royal family, of duty as it were, for 20 years or so.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to travel to London this week to take part in Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The couple’s young children — Archie and Lilibet Diana — will spend some time with The Queen.
