This weekend, a new series of photos have surfaced that proved that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have concluded that they are certainly not returning back home anytime soon.
On Saturday, Prince Harry stole the spotlight as he posed like a Ralph Lauren model, enjoying another polo tournament in the hot California sun.
The British prince looked like he was in his element as he stood and stretched out among several gorgeous horses at the Cancha de Estrella Polo Club in Santa Barbara.
Markle’s husband was the star of the show as he delivered a few money shots while riding his horse like a prince with his Los Padres teammates.
The pictures come almost a week after Markle and Prince Harry arrived back in the United States from their complicated trip to London.
Markle, Prince Harry, and their young children — Archie and Lilibet Diana — traveled to the UK to attend Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were rarely seen during the celebrations because they were not invited to many high-profile events.
The royal couple stayed low key for they were banned from appearing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the traditional Trooping the Colour parade with the Queen, Prince William, Prince Charles, and Kate Middleton.
There were no happy reunions or reconciliations during the stay in London.
After the balcony ban, the snub continued with Prince Harry and Markle seated far apart from the heirs to the throne during the Thanksgiving service for Her Majesty.
While entering the church, the British public let Prince Harry and Markle know how they feel about their significant return with loud cheers and some boos.
There were no interactions between the brothers or their royal wives after the church service in St Paul’s Cathedral.
Markle and Prince Harry invited Middleton, Prince William, and their children to the picnic-style birthday party for their daughter, Lilibet Diana, and they declined to attend.
Several reliable reports claimed that Prince William and his wife did not try to meet Lilibet or have their three children spend time with their cousins.
Prince Harry and his family fled the UK on Sunday, hours before the Platinum Jubilee celebrations ended.
The return to London was deemed disastrous and even painful by many royal experts who say that it has dashed all hopes of them flying to London more frequently in the future to be with the other royals.
According to royal author Christopher Andersen, Prince Harry and Markle’s olive branches and attempts to repair the damage with the royal family were met with indifference.
He said the couple was marginalized and “meticulously choreographed” out of crucial family moments.
He revealed that the royals were cold-hearted towards Markle and Prince Harry and added via Express: “The whole world was watching and waiting to see if fences would be mended if the Sussexes got back together with the rest of the family. From that standpoint, it was an unmitigated disaster. It’s hard to see how the Royal Family could’ve been any more callous towards the Sussexes. They were meticulously choreographed in every instant to be sidelined and marginalized.”
He continued: “If Harry went to London’s Jubilee celebrations hoping to mend fences, that didn’t happen.”
Royal historian Marlene Koenig told the same media outlet that the fact that the renegade royals were met with resistance implies that they will not be flying to the UK soon.
She stated: “The Duke and Duchess were advised and chose to be in the background. They attended the two major events and saw the Queen. But I doubt this will turn into frequent visits. It is understood that they also saw Charles, and one can only hope that the meeting was productive on many levels.”
The Sussex relationships with the royals took a major hit after “Megxit.” The rift grew after their major interview with Oprah Winfrey, where many revelations were made.
