Prince Harry is said to be bitting his tongue at the incredible opportunity he recently let slip away because of the conflicts with one of Queen Elizabeth II‘s top staff members.
However, Her Majesty is known for her lenient attitude towards her family (she has forgiven Andrew repeatedly) and will surely make it work with her beloved grandson.
Like every year, Queen Elizabeth is expected to fly Balmoral in Scotland for her summer retreat.
Her Majesty receives the large royal family in small groups, and therefore, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could have visited and avoided any contact with Prince William and Kate Middleton.
However, Prince Harry and his spouse have politely declined the invitation because they are busy this summer.
Prince Harry is putting the finishing touches on his tell-all book, which will reportedly be out in October.
As for Markle, she is lining up guests and preparing interviews as she gears up to launch her podcast.
However, the main reason the Duke of Sussex decided to avoid Scotland has to do with Sir Edward Young, the Private Secretary to the Queen.
This week, in a British court via his lawyer, Prince Harry went into great detail explaining his clash with Young, who he claimed decided to no longer provide him and his family the proper security they needed after they stepped down from their royal duties.
Prince Harry’s attorney, Shaheed Fatima QC, told the court: “He didn’t know at that stage that the Royal Household was involved at all … he was told it was an independent decision.”
She went on to reveal that there were “significant tensions between Harry and the Queen’s private secretary, Sir Edward Young.”
According to royal expert Neil Sean, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have committed a massive royal mistake by snubbing The Queen while trying to avoid Sir Edward Young.
He said: “Prince Harry has made yet another blunder in his quest to get his case heard by the Queen. Harry was very vocal in that sit-down interview with NBC during the Invictus Games, where he said he wanted to make sure the Queen had the right people around her.”
He added that Young’s presence in Scotland is a no-no for Prince Harry: “Harry claims that he was one of the sticking points and that he couldn’t get his point across because of him.”
The royal expert continued by saying that Prince Harry truly miscalculated that matter because Young might be vacationing with The Queen.
He stated: “As we know, the Queen goes to Balmoral for her summer holidays. She invites people up there during her long stay there as a chance to catch up in a more relaxed setting. According to a very good source, it looks like Harry and Meghan will be too busy to make the trip. But it also appears that Sir Edward Young wouldn’t be there for the whole duration of the stay.”
Sean stated that Prince Harry would regret not traveling to be with his grandmother because it would have been a formal setting to talk about the many problems.
According to the royal pundit, even if Prince Harry and Markle did change their minds — it might be too late because the Queen now has a full schedule and cannot squeeze them in.
He said: “Some senior sources pointed out to me that it would have been a wonderful opportunity for Harry to have an informal chat with Her Majesty to discuss the problems that have engulfed the monarchy over the last two years. But as ever, Harry has made yet another big mistake, and now Queen’s diary is full-up, so it’s too late for him to make the trip.”
It is a well-known fact that Queen Elizabeth adores her grandson, and she would have mercy on him and his family and invite them to stay with her if they asked her.
