Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have taken over New York. The runaway royals are in the Big Apple for charitable works, business, and pleasure.
On Monday, Prince Harry was the keynote speaker at the United Nations, delivering a headline-making speech in honor of Nelson Mandela Day.
The Duke of Sussex called for world leaders to take action to put an end to the wars, social injustice, and the many other ills that are hurting people.
Prince Harry also showered the late leader with praises and revealed his love for the African continent and its people.
He stated: “For most of my life, it has been my lifeline, a place where I found peace and healing time and time again. It’s where I felt closest to my mother and sought solace after she died and where I knew I had found a soulmate in my wife.”
After the roaring yet controversial remarks, Markle and Prince Harry stepped out for a night in the town that included dinner with friends.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were photographed as they arrived to wine and dine at a fancy Italian restaurant in Tribeca.
A source told Page Six that Prince Harry and Markle had an army of security personnel present at the restaurant.
However, the power couple did not get any special treatments — they arrived and sat like the other folks.
A person, who was dining at the eatery, told the media outlet: “There was lots and lots of security all throughout the restaurant, but they weren’t in [a] private room. They were seated in the middle of the busy restaurant.”
The security team did warn other partons that if they tried to take photos of Prince Harry and Markle, they would be “asked to leave.”
Another patron said Prince Harry and Markle were in great spirits and left a group of people speechless with their gestures.
After the Duke and Duchess of Sussex discovered that one of the diners at the table next to them was celebrating their birthday, they went up to them and told them a few kind words.
Markle and Prince Harry left the person stunned as they wished them a happy birthday.
The eyewitness said: “There was a random birthday celebration at the table next to theirs. Meghan went up to them with Harry and said, ‘I wish you the happiest birthday,’ to the table next to her. They were all dumbfounded and just said, ‘Thank you so much.'”
Another spy added that they had “Sardinian sheep’s milk ricotta, steak tartare, Piemontese, the ravioli, and a few other dishes as well as red wine.”
The person also revealed: “They wined and dined with another couple that seemed to be close friends.”
Markle looked effortless chic in a black and white jumpsuit that was reminiscent of an outfit that Kate Middleton recently wore to a movie premiere.
