It has been revealed that there is a big possibility that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, will be doing some unexpected traveling this summer or in early fall.
The power couple, along with their two young children, Archie and Lilibet Diana, could leave their lavish California mansion for maybe a week’s stay in Scotland with Her Majesty.
Like all previous years, Queen Elizabeth, 96, will be spending a quiet ten-week vacation in her Balmoral estate.
Her Majesty is expected to receive almost all of the royal family as guests during her stay and has invited Prince Harry, Markle, and their children to her Highlands home.
The family members will be arriving on different dates, and therefore, Prince Harry will not cross paths with Prince William and Kate Middleton.
According to The Sun, Her Majesty arrived in Scotland on Thursday and requested that her staff make preparations for her special invitees.
Confirming that preparations are underway for Prince Harry and the former American actress, a source in Craigowan Lodge on the Balmoral estate told the British media outlet: “They are preparing for the Sussexes.”
Another palace insider hinted that Queen Elizabeth might be making up for and regrets how she treated Prince Harry and his family during the Platinum Jubilee.
The person stated: “Meghan and Harry barely had 15 minutes with The Queen during the hectic arrangements of her Platinum Jubilee this summer.”
Sources have previously claimed that Prince Harry and Markle were denied the opportunity of having their daughter, Lilibet Diana, take a photo with the Queen.
Prince Harry and his entire family were snubbed by Kate Middleton and Prince William on several occasions during the festivities.
Another source is reported to have told The Sun that Prince Harry and Markle will politely and respectfully turn down the Queen’s invitation.
A person familiar with the situation shared: “I would be stunned if they did turn up.”
Royal expert and commentator Neil Sean weighed in on the matter and revealed that Prince Harry and Markle would gently let The Queen down by telling her they are too busy to vacation with her.
Markle will be launching her podcast, and Prince Harry has a tell-all book to complete and promote.
Speaking of the tell-all book — Prince Harry might be staying away from the Queen because he does not want to have an awkward conversation with his grandmother about the bombshell revelations and truth bombs in the memoir.
The royal expert shared his thoughts by saying: “As we know, the Queen goes to Balmoral for her summer holidays. She invites people up there during her long stay there as a chance to catch up in a more relaxed setting. According to a very good source, it looks like Harry and Meghan will be too busy to make the trip.”
Others say this is a golden opportunity that Prince Harry and Markle cannot refuse — because it is a good PR ahead of their big projects, a chance to bond with the aging Queen and get that precious photo of their daughter and her great grandmother.
