In a bombshell video, Britney Spears has decided to share her truth with the world. The singer took to YouTube, where she dropped a 23-minute video that has now been deleted.
In the clip, the pop music princess opened up about her parents, the 13-year conservatorship, and the pain she endured because of her family.
The entertainer reiterated what she had been saying since late 2021 when she won her court battle against her father, Jamie Spears.
Britney Spears slammed her father for controlling her career and personal life. The “Hold Me Closer” singer explained that her parents lied about her using drugs to force the conservatorship.
She claimed it was a setup to abuse her and added: “A woman introduced the idea to my dad, and my mom helped him follow through and made it all happen. It was all set up, and there were no drugs or alcohol in my system and pure abuse.”
The entertainer stated that she was offered large sums of money to take part in bombshell interviews with Oprah Winfrey and other famous journalists and declined.
She confessed: “I get nothing out of sharing all of this. I have offers to do interviews with Oprah and so many people [for] lots and lots of money, but it’s insane. I don’t want any of it. For me, it’s beyond a proper sit-down interview.”
Spears made this new jaw-dropping accusation against her relatives: “They literally killed me. They threw me away. I felt like my family threw me away. I was performing for thousands of people at night in Vegas. The rush of being a performer, the laughter, the respect … I was a machine. I was a f–king machine, not even human, almost. It was insane.”
The mother of two also revealed that she had plans to leave the country with her then-boyfriend, and that is one of the reasons that the conservatorship was put in place.
She shared: “I was talking to a guy, and he wanted to just leave the country with me. We had it all set up to leave, and it was a secret relationship.”
Shortly after posting the video, Britney Spears’s mom, Lynne Spears, shared a message on her official Instagram page where she shared her side of the story and begged her daughter to contact her.
She said: “Britney, your whole life, I have tried my best to support your dreams and wishes! And also, I have tried my best to help you out of hardships! I have never and will never turn my back on you! Your rejections to the countless times I have flown out, and calls make me feel hopeless! I have tried everything. I love you so much, but this talk is for you and me only, eye to eye, in private. ❤️🙏.”
The music superstar is in the middle of a musical comeback.
