Kanye West Makes Televised Promise To Kim Kardashian After Pete Davidson Debacle

Kim Kardashian Kanye West New Truce

It seems that Kanye West is a changed man who finally realizes that Kim Kardashian will forever be an essential part of his life.

This week, the controversial rapper sat down on ABC, where he confessed that he is now a different person thanks to his faith in God.

The billionaire artist offered a lengthy televised apology to Kardashian and promised to stop causing her stress and public humiliation.

West told Linsey Davis that he is doing his mea culpa with Kardashian because he has realized that she needs to have a sound mind to be the best mother to their young children.

West and Kardashian were married for seven years, and they share four children — North, 9; Saint, 6; Chicago, 4; and Psalm, 3.

Kanye West did the surprising interview with ABC News, and the portion focusing on Kardashian and their family drama aired on Good Morning America Thursday.

The 45-year-old rapper and Kardashian announced their divorce in early 2021. In the following months, West eviscerated Kardashian and her then-boyfriend, Pete Davidson, daily with alarming Instagram posts.

The MC, who also goes by Ye, attacked Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, and questioned her status as a mother. West is now admitting that he was wrong.

He shared: “This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger. But also, ain’t nobody else needs to be causing no stress either. I need this person to be least stressed and at best sound mind and as calm as possible to raise those children.”

When West was asked if he feels he has “a voice while co-parenting,” he said that it hurts because he has to “fight for it.”

He explained: “That hurts you when you have to, like, scream about what your kids are wearing. I want my kids to go to Donda, and I have to fight for [it].”

West went on to compare his fight with Kardashian to his disagreements with collaborators and fashion brands Adidas and Gap.

Kanye West stated: “It’s those little nuances where there is a parallel in what was happening at Gap, what was happening at Adidas, and what was happening at my home. It was all kind of a disregard for the voice of something that I co-created. I co-created the children. I co-created the product at Adidas. I co-created the product at Gap. It’s a parallel, and the parallel does touch on discrimination.”

West has made similar promises in the past and quickly broke them and jumped on social media to blast Kardashian. It is not known if he will keep his word this time around.
