Kanye West has decided to make headlines most unusually. The controversial rapper and billionaire took to his official Instagram page, where he changed his profile picture.
West decided to replace his photo with a stunning picture of his former mother-in-law, Kris Jenner.
The move made waves on social media for two reasons — whenever West puts up a picture on his page, it means that he is feuding with that person. And secondly, West and Jenner have been at odds in the past.
It was not that long ago that West called Jenner a member of the KKK. West also said that he feared Kris Jenner would push his daughters — North and Chicago West — to pose for Playboy as she did with Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.
West also accused Jenner of having him dragged to rehab against his will. Surprisingly, there is no war between Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband and the businesswoman.
West revealed that he made the move because he wanted to show appreciation for his children’s grandmother. Kanye West said: “I posted Khris with thoughts and respect. Let us change the narrative.”
This week, Kanye West seems to be in the mood for peace with his family. West recently revealed that Kardashian was his queen, and she is indeed the one who got away.
Via his Instagram Stories, West found a bizarre way to express his condolences to the UK over the recent death of Queen Elizabeth II and praise Kardashian at the same time.
He wrote: “London, I know how you feel. I lost my queen too.”
This month, West publicly apologized to Kardashian for humiliating her and her family with a series of vile Instagram posts and interviews.
West appeared on Good Morning America, where he said that he has a new level of respect for Kardashian and added: “This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger. I need this person to be less stressed and of the best, sound mind, and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children at the end of the day.”
West went on to explain that he is determined to play a part in his children’s lives.
He claimed: “I have a right to have a voice on what my kids are wearing, what they’re watching, what they’re eating. I have a platform where I get to say what so many dads can’t say out loud.”
