Meghan Markle has devised many excuses for why she can and should punish King Charles III. King Charles’s heartache over his absent grandchildren has been well-documented in recent years.
His Majesty longs for the days he can see, talk, and bond with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
However, Meghan Markle has decided she and her children will not travel to England. The former actress blames a lack of security, the ongoing court battle with the British government, the harsh media, and accommodation for her not returning to the UK.
Her ungracious decision forced Prince Harry to make several trips solo to his home country. A royal expert has not minced words, labeling Markle’s decision as one of the most immature in royal history.
Appearing on Talk TV, royal expert Kinsey Schofield explained that Markle’s move is beyond childish and added: “Meghan not coming during several of the last visits, Harry refusing to stay at the Palace…It’s almost as if they’re trying to prove their point by saying, ‘Well, Meghan can’t come. She’s not safe enough. Harry can’t stay at the Palace; it’s unsafe enough.”
She said that Markle and Prince Harry seem to think they are punishing The King by putting a distance between them.
Schofield said: “They’re the most immature adults I’ve ever witnessed in my entire life, and it feels like they are creating this distance to punish somebody and to prove some point, but the reality is that’s the safest Harry would have been.”
Jennie Bond, former royal correspondent for the BBC, explained to OK! Magazine the surprising logic for Markle to skip Prince Harry’s most recent trip to London, where he marked the anniversary of the Invictus Games by saying: “It’s likely that Meghan will not join him at the service, given Harry’s concerns about safety. Her presence would not make any reconciliation moves easier. She would probably be nervous about the reception she might get from any public gathered outside the cathedral.”
The so-called punishment has come back to bite them in the butt. King Charles retaliated by pushing Prince Harry and Markle further away.
This is the first year it has been made official tha Prince Harry and Markle and their young children will not be invited to Scotland.
While The King is hurting because of the void in his heart, he has decided that his and Kate Middleton‘s peace of mind comes first and that face-time with Archie and Lilibet must suffice for now.
In other words, King Charles is asking Markle who is punishing whom.
