Earlier this year, King Charles III announced that he was battling cancer. His Majesty called his two children, Prince Harry and Prince William, to announce the heartbreaking news.
While Prince William shared his well wishes with his father during the private telephone call, Prince Harry hopped on a plane from California to London.
Prince Harry was determined to speak to his father in person the same day he received the call. The world knows the visit did not go well for several reasons.
King Charles’s helicopter was spotted over his primary residence, Clarence House, going back and forth. King Charles and Queen Camilla were set to travel to Scotland for some decompressing time right before His Majesty started his cancer treatment.
The meeting between the father and son lasted less than 30 minutes. Queen Camilla decided not to attend because she did not want to see or speak to her stepson after his shocking revelations about her and the family.
It has been revealed that King Charles was deeply disappointed with the trip, the meeting, the delay, and the public display of unhealthy behavior from his youngest son.
A source told MailOnline: “The King was “unhappy” because the visit disrupted his plans to begin his recovery at Sandringham. Instead of rushing off, the King was kept waiting at Clarence House for his arrival for their short visit, which did nothing to repair their relationship.”
Prince Harry attempted to share his side of the story. A source told OK! magazine: “He needed to know if what his dad had told him about his illness over the phone was true and both something that he had sugar-coated so as not to worry him. Once he was sure the King was in the best hands, he calmed down and realized he had time to work things out.”
Prince Harry plans to desperately fly to England this summer to reconnect with his ailing family. He will leave Meghan Markle behind in California to visit his relatives.
Sources have revealed that it is not a good idea because King Charles does not want to be disturbed. Royal sources confirmed to Page Six: “There’ll be no suffering through the gloomy Scottish weather at Sandringham or wading through the lochs for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this summer. King Charles and Queen Camilla have not invited the renegade royals and their two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for a family vacation at the monarch’s Highlands estate.”
The Monarch has no patience for his rebellious child.
